Great value hotel
Pros:

Great size room, very comfortable bed, clean and tidy. Lovely bathroom.
Air con was a huge bonus during the heatwave.
Food in the restaurant was good. Breakfast was freshly cooked with lots of options.

Nothing.

Met our expectations and was even better than anticipated. Thank the staff who are kind, welcoming,.
Pros:

The breakfast was incredible. I had gluten free. Best breakfast I've ever had. Delicious sausages, bacon. But chef made my own hash browns/rusti. That was going above and beyond. Wonderful.
The room was well equipped. Huge, and we had Aircon which was much appreciated in this heatwave.

Cons:

The surroundings with old buildings need improvement. I'm sure they will get it done in time. Inside is fabulous.

Relaxing and convenient for our weekends racing at Clay Pigeon Raceway.
Pros:

The room was very comfortable and a good size. The staff, especially the chap who greeted us at reception was exceptional; a great asset to the hotel.

Cons:

The car park was a bit ropey but this is a very minor gripe.

Nice hotel - exceeded our expectations - great value
Pros:

The room was well equipped and reasonably roomy. The dinner was enjoyed and a very reasonable price (for the UK). The staff were great especially the older women looking after the dining room. Very convenient location for where we were going during our stay.

Cons:

Like all hotels, there is only space provided to open up 1 suitcase. When there are 2 travelers, the other has to open their suitcase on the bed. The shower only has glass on half of it, so you always get water on the floor. The bathroom needs more hooks for towels as well as the hang-up toiletry cases a lot of travelers carry now.

Great place for a short stay.
Pros:

Nice and clean through out the building. Staff very nice and friendly, nothing appeared to be too much trouble if asked.

Cons:

Outside car park a bit unsightly, and some rooms from the outside looked unkept, lace curtains dull and need mending in some cases.
