Affordable but with quite a few flaws.
Pros:

The view of the skyline was nice, however it was blocked by the furniture. The bed was comfortable.

Cons:

The room was freezing cold, the heater in our room was not enough. Not the cleanest. The rooms are not sound proof to the point you can hear the neighbor's conversations.

Decepcionante
Pros:

Las vistas desde la habitación y la cama.

Cons:

La mala gana del personal para atender cuando no estás vestido de smoking, no hubo información sobre las instalaciones (gimnasio, terraza, agua caliente). Cuando preguntamos por el gimnasio nos enviaron al piso 7. Visitando todos los pisos encontramos el gimnasio en el piso 2, justo sobre la cabeza de los recepcionistas. Fuimos al último piso para acceder a la terraza superior y no nos dejaron pasar, de allí nos enviaron al piso 7 dónde hay una terraza techada pero la puerta no abría. Al consultar en recepción resulta que esa terraza es para gold members. Para completar hubo música fuerte toda la noche porque había un evento en el piso 11, y se escuchaba desde el piso 8. A la mañana un técnico golpeando la puerta para preguntar si era la habitación con problemas, y no...nunca pedimos ninguna reparación. Parecería que era el primer día de trabajo de todos porque nadie sabia nada. Caro para lo poco que ofrece y decepcionante.

Great views, clean room
Pros:

Overall the location was safe, near to a subway station. The views from the room and rooftop bar was great. Room was clean and spacious for a NYC hotel room. It was cleaned every day. Staff was really nice, helped us if we had any questions and they held our luggage after checkout for the afternoon for free.
A 24/7 small deli is on the next corner, so we could get drinks even after we got back late at night. Times Square was only 20-25 minutes with the subway. One further subway station's area was a bit sketchy, but we just didn't use that. The E train to JFK is also 10 min walking distance so we could easily get to the airport.

Cons:

There was an ice machine on our floor that was a bit loud sometimes, but we only heard it maybe on one night, except for this the room was near silent. Also a mini fridge would have been a good thing to have in the room.
