Good basecamp for mountain adventures
Pros:

Convenient location when driving, and close to the mountains. Room was clean and comfortable. It was nice to have the hot tub option (although I didn't use it), and after a rainy day of walking, I really appreciated having a drying room!

Cons:

Bathroom was surprisingly tiny, and the shower somehow managed to have too high water pressure - not something I remember ever experiencing before, it was kind of uncomfortable and couldn't be adjusted. Having a window that gave to the inner courtyard and was close to the pool made for a somewhat noisy experience, as people kept walking past my room, and I had to keep the curtain closed most of the time because I'd rather not have people staring at me.

the rooms were well heated bathroom good size.
property is good for the mountains for accommodation.
Beautiful views.

Cons:

Because of the accident that happened in the carpark perhaps more lights in carparking areas it would help.

You get what you pay for and good location to Mt Ruapehu.
Pros:

The communal fireplace in the restaurant bar was fantastic

Cons:

Only breakfast option was a buffet, and when we questioned staff if there were alternative options they said no. But later discovered there were. Rooms very small.

Warm and Clean!
Pros:

Very warm and clean room are what we need! Great location to Whakapapa for skiing. Great value for family room. Washing machine and dryer available operate with coin from receptionist. Dryer room available to dry ski clothing over night for free. Hot tub looks fun!

Cons:

Not sound proof but we're lucky we had understanable neighbour next doors. Not sure about pet friendly, better check with them if you have fur alergy.
