We like the place it was so amazing especially the staff. The receptionist and the bellman at night was so helpful amazing and accommodating. They exceed our expectation The And Hotel is much more a 5 star hotel than SURA HAGIA SOFIA HOTEL.

Magnifique!
Pros:

Petit hotel avec une localisation superbe à 5 minutes à pied de Ste Sophie et de la Mosquée bleue. Simple et un peu vieillot mais d’une propreté irréprochable avec un personnel adorable et aidant. J’y retournerai!

Had a wonderful stay at The And Hotel Sultanahmet. The location was absolutely fantastic, right in the heart of the old city and within walking distance of major attractions such as Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, and the Grand Bazaar.

We stayed in a panoramic-view room, and the view was definitely one of the highlights of our stay. Waking up and seeing the beautiful Istanbul skyline and historic surroundings was such a memorable experience. The staff were also friendly and helpful throughout our stay

Phenomenal location, old-school personal service and a wonderful experience.
Pros:

The reason you book this hotel is for the incredible location, close to Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, the Basilica cistern, the Topkapi Palace and many others. When I say these are close by, I quite literally mean across the road and within a few hundred metres’ walk. You are almost directly on top of the Basilica cistern (again, meant literally).

Simply incredible!

Like all “special category” hotels, realise that these buildings are often heritage, which in turn means smaller rooms, smaller lifts, and none of that “corporate hotel” feeling - personally I couldn’t be happier. Additionally, if you want the views that this hotel is famous for, with a balcony, then book the rooms which include this (I believe there are five, all on the 5th floor. We’re presently staying in 503 duration 7-11 Sep 2026).

The staff are incredibly friendly, and I’d like to especially mention Melissa who honestly goes above and beyond, as well as Ünal, who does the same and is a true gentleman. Equally, everyone from the folks who help with your bags, to the cleaning staff, to the staff on the breakfast crew just make the stay feel so good.

The breakfast is local traditional and you will not be left fee.ling hungry!

There is a tram stop close by (T1 line, Sultanahmet) which easily gets you far and wide; tram frequency is about 5-10 min.

Cons:

Not a dislike, but important to realise that this is a small, boutique, hotel in an older heritage building. Personally I loved it but if you are after large rooms, modern bathrooms and amenities then this is not for you. I will say that if you decide against it for those reasons it would probably be a pity because the location is killer, the staff are great, and the experience feels old-school personal!

Pros:

Мы долго выбирали отель для поездки в Стамбул, потому что путешествовали с пожилыми родителями и сыном. Для нас было особенно важно удобное расположение, чтобы не приходилось постоянно подниматься и спускаться по крутым улицам. В итоге мы выбрали The And Hotel — и ни разу об этом не пожалели!

У отеля просто замечательное расположение: место спокойное и относительно тихое, при этом всё необходимое находится рядом. Вокруг множество кафе и ресторанов, недалеко есть супермаркеты, а трамвайная линия T1 находится буквально рядом. Для людей старшего возраста это особенно удобно — не нужно преодолевать бесконечные подъёмы и спуски, которые так характерны для Стамбула.

Отдельное удовольствие — вид из окна. Прямо из отеля можно любоваться прекрасными достопримечательностями города. Это создаёт особую атмосферу и делает пребывание ещё приятнее.

Но самое главное достоинство The And Hotel — это его персонал. Все сотрудники очень внимательные, доброжелательные и заботливые. Мы чувствовали себя не просто гостями, а людьми, о которых действительно хотят позаботиться.

Особенно хочу поблагодарить Ремзие ханум. Её внимание и заботу мы запомним надолго. Она всегда интересовалась, всё ли у нас есть, не оставляла нас без кофе и чая, помогала со средствами гигиены и вообще старалась сделать наше пребывание максимально комфортным. Огромное спасибо ей за такое тёплое отношение!

От отеля у нас остались исключительно положительные впечатления. Я особенно рекомендую The And Hotel семьям с пожилыми людьми и всем, кто ценит удобное расположение, спокойную атмосферу, близость к достопримечательностям и, конечно, человеческое отношение.
Также хочу отметить, что в отеле есть лифт, что является большим преимуществом для гостей старшего возраста. Благодаря лифту не нужно подниматься по лестнице с багажом или после долгих прогулок по городу.

Если мы ещё раз приедем в Стамбул, я совершенно уверена, что снова выберем именно The And Hotel.

Cons:

Единственный небольшой минус — фен в номере. Он работает довольно слабо, поэтому особенно при длинных и густых волосах сушить волосы им неудобно и занимает много времени. В остальном у нас не было никаких замечаний — только положительные впечатления от отеля и персонала.

We had a wonderful stay at The And Hotel Sultanahmet! The location is absolutely fantastic, right in the heart of Sultanahmet, with so many of Istanbul’s beautiful sights within walking distance.

The hotel has a lovely atmosphere, and the staff were warm, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. The views are also amazing, making it a particularly special place to stay in Istanbul.

A great choice if you want to explore the city from a central and convenient location. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily come back! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
