Hotel in a great location for stays in Scarborough. Rooms were clean and seemed to have been updated. Small bathroom ensuite and brewing facilities. Fan was a welcome addition, as were the ear plugs of the seagulls are too noisy.
No breakfast facilities but plenty of options to eat locally

I'd struggle to find anything but if I was being very picky, the bathroom shelf gets in the way of the sink.

The location is excellent, just a short walk from the beach, the town centre and local attractions. The room was very clean, comfortable and well maintained, and we had two great nights sleep. The staff were welcoming and friendly throughout my stay, making me feel at home. Overall, it offered great value for money and I would happily stay here again.
Honestly, I didn't find anything significant to complain about. It is a good place to stay. Everything met or exceeded my expectations. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Scarborough.
Location- perfect location for seafront, town centre, restaurants and castle.
Hosts- Amazing! Welcoming, friendly and informative. Beautiful family that obviously takes great pride of their home/business.
Cleanliness- I challenge anyone to find a cleaner hotel anywhere! Deep cleaned daily.
Rooms- our room was an ‘attic room’ however very spacious, bright and airy. Had everything in you required for a comfortable stay.
Communal areas- Hotel throughout is spotless. Decor is tasteful and modern in a beautiful historic building.
Parking - free parking permit issued to park in streets behind hotel, however you can park on street outside hotel for 40 minutes to allow for bag drop off and check in.
We will definitely be staying again!

Friendly check in. Very comfortable bed and a nicely decorated room and hotel.
The stairs leading to the property are tricky for people with mobility issues or with babies in prams.
The only thing we could fault with the room is that there wasn’t a non slip mat in the shower which was very slippery. Other than than that wonderful!

Misleading details said 15 mins from hotel to peasholme park, open air concert theatre, this is untrue and even google states at least 45 mins. I would not have booked, as I specifically needed 15 mins walk due to disability. No buses and would have been difficult to get taxi, would have been stranded, so had no choice and decided not to stay at hotel, with no refund. Parking is also chaotic looking down lots of streets, with potential long walk back to hotel with cases. Owner claimed it is possible walking up large hill to castle off road which is not ideal for ladies in the dark at midnight. There was no understanding at all from the owner and dismissive.
