Small room close to town center.
Pros:

Proprietors accommodated a late arrival. Great location with a short downhill walk to town center.

Cons:

Room too small for any table, chair, or luggage rack; no place to put anything but on the floor. No hot water.

Pros:

The Host was amazing so welcoming, super friendly and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble. The weather was extremely hot during our 2 nights stay. We were unexpectedly upgraded to an apartment with a fridge / kitchen etc. and although the Bed albeit we are used to a super king was adequate for normal weather conditions but it was a little challenging in the dreadful heat. That said the second night I slept on the huge super comfy sofa. The Host provided additional bedding for that purpose. So great experience in hospitality. Lovely spacious apartment which was surprisingly cool at times, with room to move around. The TV was smart and the WiFi strong. Breakfast was also super. Lots of hot fresh cooked choices. Loved our first stay and visit to Frome. Great free carpark. We were able to park up early before check in to explore what the town has to offer.

Cons:

Nothing immediately stands out.

Night on the Mendip Hills...
Pros:

The hotel was nice with a bit of a clamber to get to room 10 - overlooking the roundabout..... quiet, comfortable, good bathroom, excellent shower... (pressure a bit low...) gonna look forward to seeing the results of the refurbishment after this coming weekend. Breakfast was yum and plentiful....
Good luck and see you again....

Cons:

Climbing those stairs...
Being on top of the hill - warning needs adding for people with disabilities...
Car park was tight but big enough...

Nice people, busy location
Pros:

Staff were friendly, rooms were keen, breakfast was good

Cons:

Quite noisy on a busy junction, my room was adequate but the other premium room I booked which my friend had, he said had no wardrobe or chest of draws, so he had to hang his clothes on a chair…

Wouldn’t recommend to anyone with children
Cons:

The property looked nothing like the photos on the website. It was very scruffy when we arrived lots of rubbish outside in the carpark, the smell of weed was overwhelming, and the locals made us feel uncomfortable. The bathroom in the room was filthy, WiFi didn’t work properly so we couldn’t watch a film. Staff were not welcoming and quite rude especially at breakfast.

Fab location. Lovely staff. Good breakfast.
Pros:

Lovely staff. Good breakfast. Great location. Free parking!

Cons:

Would have loved aircon & a fridge to keep drinks cold - we were there at the start of a heat wave.

Good location in central Frome & fine for a night or two
Pros:

Good location close to the town centre, decent breakfast with choice for hot food and buffet cold food. Room was clean and bathroom seemed newly decorated. On site parking. Kettle + tea/coffee + water in room.

Cons:

The room was at the top of steep stairs, which would be hard with mobility issues. The room was small and extremely hot (though it was a hot weekend) - there was a fan but without it we'd have been unable to sleep. Coffee was from a machine - I think it should be made to order if you have a la carte breakfast.

Frome was a lovely surprise and this little hotel was in the perfect place in the heart of the town.
Pros:

Perfect location in the heart of Frome. Good to have the parking behind the building and be able to get in through the back door. I had the apartment which was very comfortable and had everything I needed and more. A real bonus to have breakfast included and a hot one too.

Cons:

Nothing
