We stayed at the hotel in July and it was hot in the bathroom. The hotel had air fresheners in the hallways with a perfume smell that could get a bit intense when the smell got into the room.

Lack of PowerPoint near the bed head. Not a big problem but important if you have for example a CPAP machine.
Great location - loved Castle Street.
The hotel is undergoing major room refurbishment - we had very loud, constant drilling and hammering on our arrival and until late in the evening and again the next morning. No prior notice of this from Booking.com or the hotel and it wasn't even mentioned to us on arrival. Room 103 badly needs refurbishment itself, its drab and depressing. Dirty drawers, dusty fan, smelly and stained cushions. Would not stay here again.
What an incredible time we had. We were staying for my daughter’s graduation and took three rooms for the family. All staff and comms were fantastic and so helpful and easygoing. The rooms were stunning and we loved it. Amazing location just across from The Ivy. Fabulous.

Close to all city centre attractions
Couldn't fasten the windows overnight so wasn't as relaxed as could have been. Lots of cobwebs high on walls. Could do with little shelf in shower

Woken up at 0830 to building work from the room above, spoke to reception was told a manager would speak to us, phoned the hotel a few days late was told the same still waiting over two weeks later
I love the vibe of the property, the room was spacious and beautiful and all the staff were so nice and friendly.

Veldig vanskelig og sove pga. varmen. Vi hadde en stor gulvvifte og fikk låne en til.
Kommer ikke til å bo her igjen hvis de ikke får på plass et ventilasjonsanlegg og/eller aircontidion.
The boutique hotel is perfectly located for shopping, bars and restaurants as well as being in close proximity to The Docks.
The rooms are comfortable and nicely decorated.
Due to the heatwave the rooms were very hot.
