Wonderful accommodation we’d revisit without hesitation!
Pros:

Where would you start! Gorgeous ‘heritage hotel’ with stunning views, peace and quiet, great food and lovely staff! Everything we’d hoped for 😊 We were on the top floor with a balcony so spent time enjoying the Swifts flying straight past us, and European Black Kites being mobbed by the other birds. Local transport brilliant - regular bus down to the station and therefore good access to other areas. We visited the Reichenbach Falls at Meiringen and had a gorgeous ice cream and meringue dessert at the café at the top of the woodland walk.

Couldn’t fault it!

Eine wunderbare Atmosphäre und Lage, eine tolle Aussicht in alle Richtungen, tolles Personal mit Humor

Cons:

Das Geniessermenu hat uns sehr geschmeckt. Einzig die Mengen sind ein bisschen knapp bemessen.

Die Lage des Hotels ist traumhaft schön. Den Ausblick parallel auf die Berglandschaft und den Sarnersee richten zu können, ist einzigartig!
Das Ambiente und der Charme des Hotels sind unverwechselbar.
Wir würden jederzeit wieder in dieses Hotel gehen!

Pros:

Das Hotel ist sehr schön und thront in der bezaubernden Landschaft. Auch das Frühstück war gut. Wir fanden jedoch den Preis von etwa 270 Schweizer Franken pro Nacht etwas überzogen. Dass kein Fernseher im Zimmer war, störte uns nicht. Zumal die Idee mit dem sich im Zimmer befindenden Fernglas eine bessere Show bot, als so manche Programme.

Pros:

super choix de produits de proximité et home made. Personnel serviable et attentionné.

Cons:

Une possibilité de se faire un thé dans les chambres serait appréciée bien que le personnel nous fournisse en thermos à la demande.Les chambres historiques sont peut-être un peu chère comparée aux chambres standard qui sont attractives , ma foi.

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen, war entspannt.
Pros:

Das Frühstück war sehr gut, leider war das Rührei fast kalt,
der Rest war Perfekt.

Cons:

Beim Abendessen war das Essen eher kalt, die Teller zu wenig warm.
Schade, das Essen war so schnell fast kalt.

Wonderful, peaceful spot! It's everything it says it is!
Pros:

The room was well appointed with cozy linens and a comfortable bed and pillows. The breakfast buffet and staff were wonderful. The location is very peaceful and beautiful and was a delight to explore.

Cons:

The only downside was disappointment with one of the evening meals. I expected far better for the price paid. I ordered off the menu the next evening and enjoyed it more and it cost less.
