⭐ Comfortable Stay with Great Service, but Some Improvements Needed
Pros:

Clean bathroom and overall good room condition

Nice touch that the rooms have a balcony

Very comfortable beds

Good restaurant in the resort plus many withinn few meetrs away

Friendly and efficient service

Breakfast offers two choices: a savoury plate (eggs, cottage cheese, bread, butter, vegetables) or a sweet option with pancakes

Cons:

Missing blinds on the windows — the room gets very bright from early morning

TV could have internet connectivity for Netflix or regular TV programmes

Since the building is mostly wood, you can hear people walking above and below

Pros:

Ļoti jauka un mājīga palikšana viesu mājā 'Reinis'! Istabiņas bija nevainojami tīras, un māja ir patiešām ļoti labi aprīkota – viss nepieciešamais bija uz vietas. Īpašs prieks par saunu un pieejamo grilu (tikai pašiem jānopērk savas ogles). Vienīgais mazais mīnusiņš, ka šī ir dvīņu māja, līdz ar to, izejot pagalmā, blakus ir kaimiņi. Tomēr tas atpūtu nemazināja. Noteikti iesakām!

I recommend it if you are planning to visit Tarzan Park. Close by.
Pros:

The best breakfast. Very tasteful. Better than 4 stars hotels

Cons:

Safety is not so well organized. We were accommodated in the quest house, third flour. Stairs between 2nd and 3rd floor were dangerous. There was one place particular between 3 and 2 floor where there was a huge gap without any boundary. My 4 year old could easily fit through and fall to the 1st floor. Rooms on 3rd floor there was no air, if you wanted to close the door.

Pros:

Friendly young staff, all spoke great English, clean, bright room and bathroom, lots of free parking places, fluffy towels, free breakfast plate suitable for vegetarians if you leave out the bacon, walking trail nearby (you'll need to cross the main street where cars are going fast), dogs allowed for free, close to Sigulda by car, surrounded by the golf course and nature, peaceful. The room itself doesn't have AC but the top floor hallway had AC so you could leave the room door open to cool it down.

Cons:

Tap water and therefore the bathroom smell a bit unpleasant, which seems common in the Baltics, not something the hotel can necessarily affect. The stairs were quite steep for our big dogs and with multiple bags but we managed.

Old and overpriced - friendly staff
Pros:

Super friendly people.
Nice breakfast Option.
Great Sauna.

Cons:

Unfortunately only one toilet and one shower is for many people really less.
The pictures are in most cases not from the house we had.
The house we stayed is old, everything except the bathroom is 10 / 20 years old and the upper area (sleeping area) has a really strange smell which is even with a lot of open windows not smaller.
So as conclusion: there needs to be renovations before putting guests to it again.
