Everything it was a beautiful place to stay and Sue who checked us in was very helpful and lovely
There was nothing not to like it was a lovely hotel food was great
We booked Via booking.com last minute, price within a few hours went up considerably and we ended up paying £131 for a standard double which a few hours earlier was priced at £78 and didnt include breakfast!
Would have expected breakfast at the price we paid.
Breakfast not ordered. Carvery excellent
Bar staff service evenings long wait. Also not happy to provide fresh milk for room as advertised.
wonderful friendly staff, particularly Ashleigh the receptionist. A really positive experience.

Room was very hot no air con and no fridge. On the Saturday night all of my choices of food had rtun out by 7pm. The food we received was not of a good standard,
Location and friendly staff
Not being able to sleep due to noise of youths .outside and cars . Room was never a superior . Dirty room and bedding. TV too small for room . Luke warm food off carvery and the breakfast.
Bath and Bathroom overall awful . That is not a bath!!!
Good views and lovely staff.
Looking a bit tired.
The room (209) is a luxury suite with a balcony and fantastic views out over Oulton Broad. Watch boats coming and going, seagulls soaring past the balcony, a large group of swans and lovely scenery. We have stayed before and found that they have added a DAB radio to the room; this was very useful. Free slippers, tea/coffee/water and biscuits provided. All really good. A truly excellent experience that will not disappoint. The weather was exceptional, which was great, but even on a dreary day this is a nice place to stay. Free parking on-site.
The pub is buzzy with friendly staff and good views out over the broads but we felt the choice and quality of the food lets it down badly. There is a mismatch between the lengthy wait for not great meals and the lively upbeat pub atmosphere….a great shame.
The location was great, nice and friendly staff
