Great food both at breakfast and evening meals and lovely staff to help with anything required.

Je n'y retournerai pas.
Pros:

Tired and over priced
Pros:

The staff were polite although not very knowledgeable about local transport. Nothing was broken

Cons:

For just shy of £300 the room represent very poor value for money.
As many of the other posts remark - the hotel is very tired and urgent need of a total refresh.

Although maybe not unclean the age of the fittings little gaps in skirting boards, tired carpets and bedding, bathroom flooring it simply will not look or feel clean.

View from my window, dirty glass, slightly rotten frame, broken safety catch was of an unclean roof.

The staff were not unfriendly but you didn’t get a sense that they would go out of their way to help and to be honest looked / responded a little bored and uninterested.

Average fair for price
Pros:

Location, friendliness of staff, lounge area and toilets downstairs excellent.

Cons:

Obviously Inverness a tourist area so expensive for an overnight stay at the weekend in May.

The bed in our room was two single beds pushed together. One of them was lower than the other and when I laid on the bed I found myself laying in a hole due to the base having collapsed under the mattress.

We liked the location and the pool. The pub was also a nice spot after a long day of walking or touring. Staff as very
Pros:

The property was in a nice location and was an easy walk to a cute town square with an excellent cafe and coffee shop and a couple pubs. It was also only a 14 minute walk to Inverness Castle and down town. The neighborhood was residential so it was quite late at night and easily walkable during the day. The pool was a nice treat too.

Cons:

The rooms were small and there was no air conditioning so you had to sleep with the window open. It was pretty loud with people and birds. You could hear people in the next rooms walking and talking. The beds were pretty uncomfortable as well.

Lovely hotel, great staff.
Pros:

Stayed here for one night on our trip around Scotland (wish now we had stayed here longer) and I can't emphasise enough how great the staff were, by far the nicest, friendliest and most helpful of our entire trip and possibly of any hotel we've ever stayed in.
The building is lovely and the room was perfect, nice big bed and the cot and pull out bed were already set up when we got there. The room was very spacious which was great for two little kids to run/crawl around in. There's also a pool but unfortunately we didn't have time for it.
Breakfast was delicious and again the staff were amazing, entertaining two little ones while expertly doing your job is not easy. Our eldest was also delighted with his little activity book he got, thank you.
The location is great, you're mot right in the city centre but also not too far away and also close enough to the edge of the city that getting there was so easy.
It's the perfect base to explore all the attractions nearby and I would highly recommend staying here to anyone. We will definitely be back.

Great stay great pool friendly staff
Pros:

We had a wonderful stay at the Craigmonie Hotel and would happily return again in the future.

From the moment we arrived, the hotel felt welcoming, relaxed and full of genuine Highland hospitality. The building has lovely character and charm whilst still being comfortable and well maintained throughout.

Our room was spacious, very clean and extremely comfortable, with a cosy atmosphere that made it easy to properly relax after long days exploring Inverness and the Highlands. The beds were excellent and the whole hotel had a peaceful, homely feel to it.

The staff deserve a special mention because every member of the team we met was friendly, polite and hardworking. Even when busy, they always remained professional and helpful which really added to the overall experience.

The food was also very enjoyable, especially breakfast which was fresh, well presented and set us up perfectly for the day ahead. Dinner was tasty and good quality with a nice relaxed atmosphere in the restaurant.

The location is another huge advantage, close enough to walk easily into Inverness city centre whilst still being in a quieter area with parking available, which made everything very convenient.

What we liked most about the hotel was that it felt genuine. Too many hotels nowadays feel cold and corporate, whereas the Craigmonie has warmth, personality and a team that clearly care about their guests.

A lovely Highland hotel with charm, comfort and excellent hospitality. Highly recommended.

Friendly staff, outdated room, great location
Pros:

The staff was very kind. The neighborhood was quiet and beautiful. You can walk to the center in 20 minutes. There was plenty of parking space. Breakfast was okay.

Cons:

The room was old. The bed was old and saggy, which wasn't great for our backs. The TV was very small (you could barely see it from bed). Our room was probably above the kitchen, so when opening the window, you could smell the grease. We had a reservation in the restaurant, but the food was okay.
