The building itself is owed and stylish. Breakfast okay.Pool okay. Area very nice.
I could neither open nor close my window, which reminded me to the Soviet Union where they have the same problems. In addition there was a loud noise in front of my room and that smells. Aircon from the kitchen?
The hotel staff are very helpful and friendly.
When we arrived at the hotel, the management company, Belvilla hadn't passed on the booking, this meant that there wasn't enough rooms for the booking despite paying in advance.
It's now over 1 week later and Belvilla hotels have "escalated to a supervisor" for the second time, promised a callback within 24 hours. Still no response after 8 days, no sign of refund for the room they were unable to provide.
If you are booking this hotel, it would be best to contact them directly rather than through the Belvilla contact centre to check they have actually booked your rooms.
The location, the comfort and the nice staff.
Hotel room and bathroom seemed freshly renovated, and clean. The staff were kind and accommodating. The pool was quiet at the end of the day. Very peaceful area and yet it's just 15 minutes away from the centre on foot, good location with nice coffee shops nearby. No noise from other rooms.
The shampoo and gel were kept outside the shower (no shelf or holder inside the shower). The room window faced right into the parking and bar area so curtains had to be kept closed.
Large family bedroom. Pleasant staff, excellent breakfasts and dinners. Comfortable lounge bar for relaxation and an after dinner drink. Swimming pool was a bonus.
Situated slightly outside the town centre and a 20 minute walk uphill from the railway station.
The rooms were so unattractive that we did not stay.
The rooms offered. First one offered had no windows with a view – only a skylight. The second was in a distant annex, and dark and depressing.

Being charged £6 for parking and £17.95 for breakfast over £251 for abject mediocrity was the final insult. Awful.
