We arrived for breakfast at 09:10 to be told the continental option was finished. We could have cooked breakfast only. We were offered nothing to drink, when I asked I was told we needed to pay on what was the hottest day of the year. When I objected as I had a child the waitress reluctantly went to speak to a manager. Ten mins later she returned and said we could have one glass of juice only. Her attitude was appalling.

Breakfast fine, cooked plus the usual buffet bar. Kettle in the room always useful.Plenty of hot water. Located just a mile from the motorway on one side, and adjacent to good Yorkshire countryside o n the other side. The Trans-Pennine Trail runs nearby for cyclists . There is a bank of 300kw chargers right there in the Car Park, a feature that Hotels as destinations should be having, and most still don.
The room was hot. But considering it was hottest day of the year, that's no real surprise. Probably if hot Summers continue, then air conditioning will become necessary.

Lovely and spacious with plenty of comfortable seating both inside and out albeit no shaded areas to get out of very hot sun. Food in the restaurant very good on the whole but breakfasts not so good.
Constant noise at night and lots of traffic noise from nearby road. Breakfasts not value for money at all. Very hot weather for all of our three night stay and no air conditioning in room and no shaded areas outside to sit.
It was perfectly located to the M1 for our overnight stay. Breakfast was excellent choice and evening meal that we had in restaurant was also very good

No hairdryer, door card had to be reprogrammed twice!

USB ports and a modern shower room.
The bed was comfortable, and external noise levels were low.
There was only a rain-style shower, no bath. I didn't want to get my hair wet, and there was no shower cap.
The restaurant meals were well presented, but a bit too large for me; a selection of light bites could be useful.
