Photos don’t do justice, it’s gorgeous! And the staff were just so incredibly lovely and funny. Made my tired traveling soul happy. And having a balcony to look out over the city was great

It was a historic building that was well maintained and that had elegant furniture. It really was a break from the ordinary.

Cons:

The water pressure in the shower wasn't the best but it was okay. I was still able to shower and wash my hair without issue.

Elegant, well-located, lovely staff
Pros:

The room was very spacious and elegant. We really loved looking at it and being in it.
Oana, who was in the desk during our whole stay, is super competent, attentive, and incredibly funny. She helped us with a parking spot (reserve it in advance! They only have a few) and with a transfer to the airport, all while cracking jokes and extending our appreciation of the Romanian sense of humor.

Cons:

It's very minor and nit-picky, but the breakfast could be a bit better, considering how nice the hotel is. The bread selection wasn't as nice as other hotels we had been in during our Romania trip (this was the last), and the sausages weren't as high quality.

Halte dans le temps romantique
Pros:

L'accueil le décor la gentillesse du personnel. La salle du petit dej est juste magnifique, le parquet dans les chambres sublime. Très bonne literie. Une place de parking ce qui est un gros plus à Bucarest.

Cons:

Rien vraiment tout était très bien. Si c'est juste pour chipoter il manquait la mèche de la bougie sur le balcon, on aurait bien aimé l'allumer. Et la douche qui n'a pas trop de pression et le rideau de douche c'est pas très sexy 😉 et au petit dej on est arrivé à 9h et les œufs étaient froids. Mais sinon tout était parfait

È ben decorata con personalità. Le camere sono accoglienti così come anche il personale. Posizione abbastanza comoda. Prezzo buono considerato il livello del posto. Personale disponibile ad aiutarti.

Cons:

L’ingresso dal cancello perde un po’ di magia vista la bella location. Dovrebbero ammodernare la doccia e alcuni strumenti perché risultano delicati. La doccia si è guastata ma il personale ha trovato una soluzione.

Oana is the star of Scala - great stay in Bucharest thanks to her caring attitude!
Pros:

Oana made my stay wonderful! I passed through Bucuresti - coming from the USA via London, and continuing to Bulgaria for work. I am a native of Romania and very familiar with the city.. Hotel Scala is by far the best Boutique Hotel in terms of beauty, interior decorations, authenticity and quality of service. Thanks to Oana, I slept well (pretty much like a log) and also ate very well at a nice restaurant (called La Copac - on Pitar Mos, close to the hotel...) I will come back when I return to Romania. Book with confidence - you will be pampered! If you want a unique, personal experience, book here. It is well worth it.

La struttura davvero particolare e unica. Il personale molto gentile e disponibile.

Cons:

Almeno una bottiglietta d'acqua offerta come benvenuto e la presenza di una coperta per chi volesse piu' caldo la notte. Ma sono dettagli per un livello comunque buono del servizio.
