ok hotel, old rooms but remodeled
Pros:

they gave me an ok room but the bathroom smelled so bad from the toilette, i asked them to fix it but they could not fix it. they were supposed to move me the same day but they didn't and they emailed me at 2300 so they didn't move me the first day and they moved me the second day

Wonderful hotel in a beautiful and lively part of Madrid. Highly recommended.
Pros:

This was a lovely hotel in a great location. Service was outstanding. Great little restaurant and bar. Rooms were quiet even though area was busy.

Exceptional hotel experience

This hotel has it all - a beautiful and architecturally significant building, large and well-appointed rooms with a view, great breakfast with hot and cold options, a fantastic location that’s walkable to many of Madrids’s premier sites and restaurants, a very clean and well-maintained property in all aspects, and finally a top-notch staff who gave us impeccable service at every level including reception, door service, breakfast service, and housekeeping - they are a warm and friendly staff who are highly trained professionals and truly care about guest experience. This was one of our best hotel stays in Europe, and we’ve stayed at many outstanding European hotels.

Delightful, great location
Pros:

Lovely facility, room had a lot of character, friendly service. Double barrel ceiling in the room. Only a shower (no bathtub -- but wonderful rain spout).

Location is great. Hotel is elegant and very clean. Staff is friendly.

Cons:

Quite stingy with services - we were charged for bringing cutlery to our room.
Breakfast buffet is ok but didn't have a lot of options and the pastries weren't good.

Pros:

Una situación inmejorable a 3 minutos de los principales puntos de interés y fuera del bullicio de la ciudad, en un barrio de las letras precioso.
Las instalaciones muy cuidadas, y con el encanto de estar en un edificio histórico.
El personal no puede ser más amable, han hecho nuestra estancia muy agradable siempre atentos a nuestras necesidades, incluso con una pequeña sorpresa para nuestras hijas que disfrutaron mucho.
