Luxury in miniature size.
Pros:

I thought the room was impeccable. The bed and pillows were the most comfortable of my whole trip. The bathroom had a rather luxurious shower with incredible bath products. The breakfasts were incredible, well worth the extra cost.

Cons:

I didn't love that my room was on the ground floor. I was disappointed seeing that I'd paid for the breakfast for all three days that they couldn't provide me with something to go for my early flight. It was a bit further from the center of town than I thought it would be. But ideal if you want to hike up to Arthur's seat, which I did.

Wir würden dieses Hotel bei unserem nächsten Aufenthalt in Edinburgh wieder wählen.
Pros:

Die Erreichbarkeit und Parkmöglichkeiten waren sehr komfortabel. Die ruhige Lage des Hotels und das Zimmer im obersten Stockwerk haben uns sehr gut gefallen.

Es war ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt, erholsam, trotz viel Programm entspannend mit gutem Essen!
Pros:

Die Freundlichkeit, Hilfsbereitschaft, ehriches Interesse an uns Gästen war herausragend! Die ruhige Lage und doch gute Verbindung in die City (Bushaltestelle vor der Tür) sind sehr angenehm! Die Betten sind hervorragend und bequem!

Perfect bed and breakfast hotel for us. Comfortable. Lovely staff
Pros:

Breakfast is excellent. Either a full Scottish which means you probably won't want lunch! A delicious continental alternative. Good coffee.

Evening meal is a bit limited if you are after quality cuisine so we tended to eat elsewhere. Other guests seemed to be happy with the choices.

Cons:

This hotel suits us well. Parking can be an issue.

The gardens and surroundings were in beautiful gardens, close to Arthur’s Seat. We used both The Bar and Dinning room both were excellent.

Das Personal war immer sehr freundlich.

Cons:

Das Zimmer war eindeutig nicht oder viel zu wenig geputzt. Abgeschnittene Nägel im Bad. Ränder von Gläsern auf den Nachtkästchen und Beistelltisch. Teppichboden finde ich auch immer problematisch. Die Qualität des dazugehörigen Restaurants hat uns nicht überzeugt. Das Huhn konnte man fast nicht schneiden weil es so hart war. Beim Frühstück wurde unser Toast einmal vergessen.

Not much counter space around the sink in the bathroom. I had to move a light over by the bed to use for reading.
