This hotel is by far, the BEST Riu that I have reserved. The hotel looks exactly like the pictures on the website. The lobby and rooms are clean. The hotel and restaurant staff are professional and the location of the hotel is perfect. It's a short taxi/Uber ride from the airport. Please invest in the breakfast package. It is definitely well worth it. I plan to return next year and stay at this hotel and have already spoken to friends and forwarding them information about this hotel.

This was short time spent at home with memorable moments. Interaction with great people at the hotel and outdoors! The service was outstanding from the front desk staff, the waiters and staff in the restaurants, deli shop, housekeeping ladies and beauty salon/gym, parking attendants and others. This service makes the visit very pleasureable cause it is home away from home while on vacation.

Great breakfast!!! Overall very good experience, friendly staff, nice swimming pool. I recommend this hotel!

I had a good experience at the hotel. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The overall atmosphere was pleasant, and I enjoyed my stay. I would definitely consider staying here again.

Overall the stay waa ok, the only issue we had was that the water was settling in the shower you had be sweeping it to the drain with your foot. The issue was reported maintenance came but the issue wasnt solved each member (3) had to get the other get the water out before the next the person could use the shower. It was frustrating, the hotel was fully booked so a room change could not be facilitated.

This hotel has a great location in the center of the financial district and just a short Uber drive or walk to several resturants and shopping areas. Included in the price is an amazing buffet breakfast. The rooms are nice and the staff friendly. The downsides would be (1 the high prices at their indoor and pool bars and on-site resturant, (2 it seems like the hotel is a favorite of families with lots of children (probably because of the breakfast buffet) and this makes the pool almost unusable at times...it becomes filled with lots of noisy children splashing water everywhere, jumping, diving, running everywhere which negates any peaceful relaxation, (4 I have RIU highest membership (Diamond) and I have yet to receive a room upgrade and I have to get approval from the manager to even get an early checkin or late checkout despite the fact that these are a coupl of the supposed benefits of being a frequent patron of RIU.

My stay at Riu was awesome; everything about it was superb.
Definitely will be going back as long as God blesses me with life.
Breakfast was great, the kids enjoyed the pool, overall my stay was awesome.

Our stay at this hotel was fantastic; it is centrally located and easily accessible. The breakfast is spectacular—delicious and with a wide variety of options. The staff was excellent across the hotel, including the front desk, restaurants, bars and the buffet

This was my first visit to Panama. The entire hotel staff was very helpful and supportive. I would definitely love to revisit this hotel and will recommend it to others as a great place to stay. My only regret was that it was not all-inclusive.

Good, centrally located hotel, excellent breakfast

Location is perfect to see all of the city skylines from your room. Easy for transportation to access and had places for a quick bite or some fun activities right across the street. Food included with yore stay was delicious, the fruit was very fresh. Customer service by everyone was superb!

Was a great stay. We really enjoyed the breakfast, the pool area and the friendly staff. Beds were comfortable and room was spacious.

My stay at RIU Plaza Panama was everything I needed and more for my birthday trip. From the moment I arrived, the energy, service, and overall vibe were top tier. The staff made me feel so special the entire time, and everything was clean, beautiful, and well put together.

Waking up to those views from floor 33, enjoying the amenities, and just being able to relax and celebrate myself in such a gorgeous space… 10/10 experience. This hotel really knows how to make a birthday feel like a whole celebration. Thank you RIU!

I booked this hotel because of the ratings and the reasonable price. It absolutely did not disappoint! We requested a "high floor with a view of the city" and they put us on the top floor with a fantastic view. We felt safe and cared for all the time we were there (5 days). It is also centrally located and all other tours pick up from this hotel. It is within walking distance of a number of restaurants, and the in-hotel Spanish restaurant was one of our favorite. Don't waste your time/money at the pool-side hotel. Mediocre food and service, for us.

In addition, the property’s central location provided convenient access to nearby attractions, restaurants, and shopping. Overall, the RIU Hotel delivered a superior hospitality experience, and we especially appreciated the quality and variety of the breakfast buffet. We highly recommend this hotel to travelers seeking comfort, convenience, and outstanding service.

My suite was enormous but it wasn’t cleaned very well. Hairs and dust all over. The carpet smells like mildew. I was excited for a large two person jetted tub but found it was just a normal sized bath tub, and we didn’t even use it. Bed was comfortable, sheets were clean, pillows were nice. TVs aren’t connected to the internet so you can’t use any smart features or watch anything you want. They have 6-10 channels available and that’s all. Bring your own entertainment.

The restaurant service was slow and unenthusiastic. We waited a very long time for everything, including the cheque. But the good and drinks were very tasty

asked if ok with high level , and said ok, when we got to room the window looked clouded ovand bell hop said was on outside of window, clearly this was a window that lost its insulation and was foggy from within the glass. Other people travelling with us had a clear view. Management made up for it by providing food on our early departure Tuesday morning. They were aware that there are a few rooms like this and if that is the case then don't rent these out. Hotel was not at full capacity. It should not be up to us to change our room plus we were already unpacked. Excellent breakfast buffet on previous morning.

I enjoyed my stay and the view from my 30th floor room plus the pool was amazing! However, I did not have hot water in my shower the entire time. I notified the front desk staff and was told a handyman would address but this never occurred. The room, pool area, hotel amenities, and breakfast food options were all great. It would've much better if I did not have to take cool showers every day.
