Een prachtige accommodatie met echt een gevoel van grandeur. Het hotel is ruim en groots opgezet en ligt op een fantastische, rustige locatie. Het uitzicht is werkelijk prachtig en alleen al daarvoor is het een bijzondere plek om te overnachten.

Wat wij vooral heerlijk vonden, was de rust en de ruimte. Na een lange dag reizen was het ontzettend fijn om hier aan te komen en even helemaal tot rust te komen. Vanuit het hotel kijk je uit op de indrukwekkende Certosa di Padula, het enorme historische kloostercomplex aan de overkant. Ook de omgeving leent zich uitstekend voor een mooie wandeling.

Het hotel heeft een statige uitstraling en voelt bijna alsof je even in een andere tijd terechtkomt. Een bijzondere plek die voor ons veel meer was dan alleen een tussenstop op weg naar het noorden.

Cons:

Het ontbijt viel ons helaas wat tegen, zeker gezien de uitstraling van het hotel. De keuze was erg beperkt en bestond voornamelijk uit zoete producten, cake, diverse stukken taart en verder croissants en beschuit met jam. Er was geen gewoon brood en ook geen hartig beleg zoals kaas of vleeswaren of een ei.

Als je graag zoet ontbijt, is dat waarschijnlijk prima, maar wij hadden wat meer variatie verwacht. Een paar soorten brood en wat hartig beleg zouden het ontbijt al een stuk completer maken en beter laten aansluiten bij de uitstraling van het hotel.

tappa di risalita verso il nord Italia. Merita il ritorno!
Pros:

Posizione vincente, di fronte alla Certosa Di San Lorenzo con vista molto bella sul paese e sulle montagne. C'è il parcheggio privato nel cortile dell'hotel. La location è elegante, le stanze ben arredate. Il personale cordiale, disponibile e simpatico. Colazione italiana con yogurt, granola, biscotti, brioches, torte preparate dal cuoco, fette, marmellate, burro, frutta fresca. Importante la presenza di yogurt senza lattosio, latte vegetale, biscotti confezionati senza glutine. Abbiamo cenato al ristorante, ottimo l'antipasto misto di pesce, ottima la pizza (sia l'impasto che il condimento abbondante).

A picturesque place.

E' andato tutto come previsto
Pros:

Struttura vicina all'autostrada ma in zona tranquillissima e a fianco alla Certosa. E' in ottime condizioni, pulitissima e in splendida posizione. Dai balconi veduta da cartolina specialmente di sera. Buona la colazione. Il ristorante, al piano terra, tra il parco e la piscina, offre buoni piatti preparati con cura. Personale gentilissimo. Ci sono ritornato con piacere e lo farò ancora.

Bellissima esperienza
Pros:

Ottima struttura in buona posizione ai piedi del paese e di fronte alla Certosa di S. Lorenzo. Vista spettacolare e camere stupende tutte curate nel dettaglio. Personale gentilissimo e stanze super pulite.

Cons:

Avrei apprezzato anche qualcosa di salato a colazione.
