Pros:

Good location, friendly and helpful staff, secure parking and clean. Small roof terrace with great view of the castle.

Cons:

It’s a lovely old traditional building with characterful features including a narrow spiral staircase. There isn’t a lift meaning luggage needs to be carried up and down stairs. Assistance was kindly provided in our case by the owner.

A great place to stay

Wundervolle Lage, sehr nette Wirte, traumhafter Garten, Zimmer eher einfach. Wir fühlten uns wohl.
Pros:

Das Hotel hat eine wunderbare Lage, zwischen der Burg und der "unteren Stadt", jeweils ca. 10-15 Minuten gemütlich zu Fuß entfernt. Das Hotel hat eine Parkmöglichkeit einige Häuser weiter in einer Tiefgarage. Die Straße ist verkehrsberuhigt und es gibt dort viele Restaurants und Cafès. Die Stimmung dort, insbesondere Abends ist sehr anheimelnd/romantisch. Das Wirtsehepaar des Hotels ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, Kommunikation war für uns zum Glück in Englisch möglich. Das Haus ist ziemlich alt und dementsprechend baulich gestaltet.
Das angebotene Frühstück war sehr gut und bot süßes, deftiges und "Gesundes". Es gab zum Aufenthalt und Frühstücken auch einen Garten, der außerordentlich hübsch gestaltet war. Im Hotel gab es die Möglichkeit, Getränke mit aufs Zimmer zu nehmen und wir konnten aus einer sehr großen Auswahl an Weinen und anderen Getränken schöpfen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Cons:

Was uns nicht so richtig gefiel, ist dem Alter des Hauses geschuldet. Die Einrichtung unseres kleinen Zimmers kann als eher schlicht bezeichnet werden. Befremdlich fanden wir, dass in unserem Bad, das recht neu renoviert schien, der Waschtischunterschrank mit "Dezefix" beklebt war.

Pros:

La habitación cómoda, la terraza en el ático para disfrutar Carcassonne por la noche con vistas extraordinarias. Resaltar el desayuno en un magnífico jardín. Muy recomendable

Would highly recommend and would love to stay again

Very close to Carcossonne but importantly for us had secure parking as well as the hotel itself having lots of charm and character and friendly owners
