Lovely place and staff.

Cons:

Stubbed my toe on a concrete lip near the bathroom door. Watch out for that little hazard!

Bike storage is kinda always full and not under cover. Better off using the free one provided by the city around the corner. If you don't like your bike getting wet.

A great hotel for visiting Haarlem--great value and location!
Pros:

I had a very nice stay at this hotel during the Haarlem Organ Festival 2026. The central location near the St. Bavo Church made it easy to get to all the Festival venues, including the Phil, and several churches. It is also very convenient to the 600 bus to the airport. It's also convenient to the Saturday market, which is a lot of fun. For anyone visiting as a tourist, this hotel is a great choice for location and value.

Cons:

My stay was 3 nights, and rooms are cleaned only once during this short a stay. I'd prefer daily cleaning, or cleaning on the first full day in order to enjoy the clean room longer during the trip. The breakfast seemed expensive.

Prima plek voor een korte citytrip Haarlem met goede prijs-prestatieverhouding.
Pros:

Vriendelijk personeel, goede uitrusting in de kamer, prima ontbijt. Ideale locatie.

Cons:

Er is geen airco in de kamer. Was bij ons bezoek bij 20C buitentemperatuur geen probleem, maar als het +30C wordt vast wel. Ventilator boven bed hadden we gezien de temperatuur niet nodig maar is in principe een goede oplossing. Moet dan wel wat beter regelbaar zijn. Heeft nu 1 stand en maakt dan een hoop geluid.

Pros:

Very clean. Extremely helpful and friendly front desk staff. Very close to square and shopping, but quiet in hotel rooms. A great place!

Cons:

The area was warmer than usual and room was warm late in the day when sun was shining in, but front desk turned on fans for us to cool the room down in late afternoon.

Cons:

We were given one room on the 3rd floor with no elevator and we had to carry our suitcases up a very steep staircase. No aircon, just a standing fan, so very warm. Our other room was on the ground floor, also only with a standing fan. Unfortunately our rooms were far apart.

The hotel is conveniently located in the very center of the city.

Cons:

There was no refrigerator in the room. There was no air conditioning, despite the hot weather. Outside the window, there was constant noise from some of the hotel's mechanical units, making it impossible to leave the window even slightly open during hot days and nights.

Modern, clean, comfortable hotel with a very friendly welcome!
Pros:

The hotel is in a convenient central location and I received a very friendly welcome from the reception staff. I went up to my double room and was pleasantly surprised to find it was a really good size, with an absolutely massive modern bathroom and a walk-in shower.

The room had a large window which opened completely inwards for ventilation which was nice as it was good weather, so the room was very airy and bright.

The bed and bedding were fresh, clean, and soft, and I slept like a baby!

The water pressure in the shower the next morning was really good, and the water was hot and plentiful. Towels were soft and comfy.

I didn't have breakfast as I'm not a morning person, but the smells coming from the restaurant at breakfast time were tempting!

All in all, I had an excellent stay and definitely plan on staying here again on my next trip to Haarlem, thanks so much to all of the staff.

Cons:

I genuinely cannot think of anything negative about my stay at this hotel!

Niet voor in de zomer
Pros:

Prima hotel voor in de winter, maar niet voor 20+ graden

Cons:

Onze kamer was bloedheet! Het was buiten slechts 23 graden, maar in onze kamer extreem heet. De ramen konden wel open, maar die zaten precies boven de airco van beneden. Die maakte veel herrie en blies warme lucht naar boven. Ook op de gang was het heel heet, dus doorluchten hielp ook niets.
Badkamer was gedateerd en er zat schimmel op de kitnaden.
