Friendly and welcoming hotel, with excellent facilities.
Pros:

The hotel staff were very understanding to modifications in my arrival in La Paz and facilitated my check-in at 4:30 am. They were extremely friendly and welcoming, making my stay stress free and comfortable. I thoroughly enjoyed my relatively short stay at Hotel Calacoto.

Cons:

My access card did not work in the elevator, which was a little inconvenient, but the walk up and down the stairs was pleasant, so no complains :-).

Great staff; clean environement; great food
Pros:

When I arrived, I was confused about my room and made things difficult for the staff, they remained professional and did everything they could to help me. What a wonderful group of people. I then learned that I had the right room to begin with and apologized. I feel terrible that I created a problem.

My room was large and clean with a wonderful jacuzzi tub. I have been traveling for 3 weeks, and this is my first tub, loved the soak with the jets.

The location in Calacota was great, I am glad I didn't stay in La Paz city, it was nice to be in a more laid-back part of the area. Cities like La Paz are great but can get overwhelming quickly.

Breakfast was good, meats, cheese, eggs, breads, many options. They got me a taxi when I had to leave. Able to pay with credit card without ridiculous fees. Charged what booking said I would be charged. Daily housekeeping. Lovely gardens. Had lactose free milk.

The restaurant had many options, food was great. I had the Silpancho which was incredible and I also had the chicken fingers and a chicken sandwich. Really great food.

Wi fi worked great; TV had option to use Netflix and Prime etc.

Cons:

Breakfast buffet was cold; however, this seems to be how it is in Bolivia.

The heater for the room was not particularly great, took the edge off, another Bolivian issue.

No lift for those who might not want to be taking stairs.

Pros:

Good value for money, the rooms were comfortable!

Cons:

I think the breakfast was below average, especially for Bolivian standards.

Also, the staff was a bit rude towards us. When we wanted to leave our bags in one of our friends room for the next day (he was going to stay one more night), they wanted extra money from us, saying it is a late checkout case.

Cons:

Variedad de desayuno regular, no cambian todos los días las sábanas, las instalaciones necesitan actualización y mantenimiento.

很不错的酒店，处在相对低海拔区
Pros:

之所以选这家是因为它在低海拔的富人区，海边三千多一点，这对从平原直接飞到拉巴斯四千多米高原机场的我们是一个缓冲区。 酒店从设施到服务都是欧美水准。 前台很nice，允许我们提前入住，可以早一点休息适应一下海拔。
附近走路十分钟左右有很不错的超市，从肉蛋到各种水果都能买到。

A scam, no kettle or desk as promised

Cons:

I cannot eat breakfast because I leave for bird watching before they open the restaurant. So, I need a kettle to make tea in my room in the morning.
I need a desk for my laptop so I can do my bird pictures in the evening.
According to the list there were so much equipment in the room I was afraid that I would no be able to come in.
No worries, there was nothing. The luxury bathroom turned out to be a shower cabin. And the drain was not enough to drain the water while having a shower.
Rain shower or what they call it, so you had to stay outside to adjust the water temp. So, you have to soap yourself under running water. Imagine turning off the water and then adjust the temp under running water.
The bathroom floor was slippery like ice.
I was really angry and if this would have been in another part of the world the police would have showing up as it would be against the law to advertise all this equipment that turns out to be nothing.

Recommendable for a La Paz stay
Pros:

One of the best locations of La Paz, very friendly staff, we even got oxygen for the altitude problem. Very nice and rich breakfast. Near good restaurants, shops, supermarkets, the cable car of La Paz (5 min).
