Loved it
Pros:

Lovely hotel. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the food in the restaurant was excellent. Couldn’t fault it. Lovely location too

Pros:

Está muy bonita su ubicación.. en cualquier ventana donde mirases había verde. El personal es encantador y, pese a que no disponen de ascensores, se ofrecen a subirte el equipaje si es necesario. Se cena muy bien allí también y los camareros son un amor.

Cons:

Se nota que es muy antiguo, pues crujía el techo con cada pisada de los del piso de arriba y, a según qué horas, resultaba bastante tedioso. La zona de aparcamiento es pequeña para tantos huéspedes.. si no llegas a una hora buena, te toca aparcar en la carretera.

Very helpful and kind staff. Always had good local recommendations. The grounds are great for adults and kids alike. I recommend reserving yourself a spot for dinner.

Cons:

No elevator. But theres always staff to help with luggage.

Unique experience in the Black Forest
Pros:

This is a beautifully unique hotel. High up on a bluff, overlooking a picturesque valley And it has a tower castle. For Americans, this is like staying in the elegant Stanley hotel at Estes Park, Colorado. But, add a beer garden overlooked by a castle tower.

The family still runs this property and their attention to detail is Amazing. The Staff is so welcoming and helpful.

We wanted to stay here to experience Black Forest traditions and it was a wonderful stay.

Hotel situat en un lloc fantàstic.
Pros:

Bones vistes a la torre del castell. Habitació àmplia. Bon esmorzar. Bon tracte. Zona de jocs infantil i itinerari històric molt interessant al costat.

Cons:

Hauran d'anar-se adaptant al clima, amb mesures per no passar calor.

Lovely hotel, opt for a room on lower floors if possible
Pros:

Lovely traditional building with great views. Evening meal & breakfast was very good. Staff very welcoming. Room was very spacious and clean

Cons:

Our room was on the 3rd floor which was quite challenging
