My husband and I were originally supposed to stay at Grand Millennium Al Wahda on February 27, 2026 for two nights and it became 6 nights .We supposed to fly back on March 2. Flight got cancelled. Super nice hotel. Staff is very helpful, Location is in heart of downtown. Spacious room with excellent view. Very convenient location. Plenty of restaurants. Two minutes walking distance to Al Wahda Mall

I was one of the passengers stranded in Abu Dhabi when the war broke out, turning a simple 2-day Etihad stopover into a period of immense uncertainty. During one of the most stressful times of my life, the entire hotel team became our sanctuary. From the reception and concierge to the kitchen staff and doormen, every single person went above and beyond to ensure we were cared for. Their compassion wasn't just extended to me, but to every stranded passenger. I have left with a profound love for this country and this hotel. You provided comfort when we needed it most, and I will be recommending your world-class hospitality to everyone I know. I cannot wait to return under better circumstances.
I stayed at the hotel for 12 days due to the Gulf War. Despite the unpleasant situation, the hotel staff made me feel at home. They were nice, helped me with any problem. The food and hotel facilities were very good and I must especially mention Mr. Mohammed. The hotel reception manager was always interested in our well-being and took care of any problems we had. Highly recommend the hotel.
We ended up booking this hotel unexpectedly after discovering our flight had been canceled on the way to the airport — and it turned out to be the best decision we could have made.
We stayed for a week while stranded in Abu Dhabi due to the war, and during what was an incredibly stressful and uncertain time, the hotel staff showed exceptional kindness and professionalism. Their patience and willingness to help every guest did not go unnoticed.
Raghav, who checked us in, was especially thoughtful. He made sure our rooms were next to each other and non-smoking, which made a big difference for our family. He also noticed it was our son’s birthday during check-in and took the time to wish him — a small but meaningful gesture that lifted our spirits.
The duty manager, Anecia, was equally outstanding. She helped us smoothly extend our stay and went above and beyond to assist with resolving billing questions, all with warmth and a genuine smile. Her calm and cheerful personality made a difficult situation manageable.
The hotel is centrally located and directly attached to Al Wahda Mall. We could easily access shops and restaurants nearby. There were even small grocery shops where we were able to pick up fresh fruit and other essentials, which was especially helpful during our extended stay.
We are truly grateful for the care and hospitality we experienced here. In a challenging moment, this hotel provided not just accommodation, but comfort, convenience, and reassurance. We would wholeheartedly recommend staying here when visiting Abu Dhabi.

I originally stayed here for a 2-night stopover with Etihad Airways and unfortunately got extended for a week due to the war. I had a great time here and received great service from the hotel staff. The concierge team, especially Sandeep, was also very helpful and professional in handling stranded passengers staying in the hotel.

Service is very nice, food is good and the facilities are clean
Upon arrival, attendants rushed to our car and escorted us inside. We were first taken to a desk where a dark-skinned staff member rudely told us he was busy. We suddenly felt worried and wondered if we had made a mistake in choosing this hotel. We were waved over to another counter where our experience completely changed. The amazing staff member Umer welcomed us and treated us like royalty. He asked another staff member over to give us ice cream while we were checked in.
Umer provided us extensive information on the area and even answered sensitive questions we had about cultural issues. Under never failed to wave to us during our stay and greet us by name. He alone made this stay amazing.
