Everything, the room had an unpleasant smell, the bathroom was not cleaned very well.
Exceptional staff let down by a lack of investment
I last stayed here 12 years ago for the Commonwealth Games -the mattresses have not been updated since - extremely worn and uncomfortable (I tried 4 beds).
The lovely helpful staff, especially housekeeping, must have an up hill battle clearing this tired, unloved trucker’s stop. I hope it receives investment soon.
Great location. Short walk to two train stations to enable travel around Glasgow and surrounding areas.

Great staff, room as expected. Discounts at costa and mcdonalds.
Booking was more expensive than we'd normally pay for this type of hotel but there was a big event on in town.
Only good thing was it was its location.
Didnt get the room I had booked and paid for. Lots of things broken in the room: lamp, chair, bathroom tap. TV didnt work properly. Most negative was the bed! Absolutely terrible sleep and really hurt my back. You can feel the springs. Needs replaced. Ruined my whole night's sleep and up early so not good when driving long distances! Not worth the money.
Location. Incredibly useful as it lies between two on/off ramps.
Needs an update. The first room I was in was awful, dirty walls, bathroom needed replace. Second room was much better but it’s run on budget provisions.
No breakfast at the hotel. Had to go to Costa or McDonalds . Very near at hand, but not the best breakfast ! Still, it was very near a Country Park, so great for walks in the nice warm weather. Easy access to central Scotland, cities, seaside. Very clean , spacious and open ,and grounds well cared for. Helpful staff too. Just beside the M74, and near to shopping centre . Not far from Airports either. Even a petrol station , cum general store on the premises. All in all, a good stay !
Quite costly, but prices up because of the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow/ Edinburgh ! Usually more affordable in normal times . Can't think of any other problems.
