Very pleasant, with really friendly & helpful staff.
Pros:

It was fairly central for my needs.

Cons:

The stairs at the front entrance & the really low sinks. I understand that you cater for wheelchair users, but a higher sink would’ve helped my bad back.

Staff were exceptionally poor. Especially the manager. The room was not ready and we had to wait 1.5hours. Manager said because we booked late it was our fault.

A beautiful hotel let down by a known air conditioning issue that unfortunately spoiled our birthday celebration.
Pros:

The room itself was lovely, clean and decorated to a high standard. We upgraded to a suite with a balcony to celebrate both mine and my husband’s birthdays, and the hotel looked modern and well maintained. The balcony and overall finish of the room were exactly what we were hoping for.

Cons:

Unfortunately, our stay was overshadowed by the lack of working air conditioning. We specifically upgraded to the suite, which was advertised as having air conditioning, as we were staying on one of the hottest days of the year. When we arrived, the room was unbearably hot and the air conditioning unit would not switch on.

After four visits to reception over several hours, an engineer advised that the unit in our room was an old one that no longer worked following the hotel’s refurbishment. This suggested the hotel was already aware that the suite did not have functioning air conditioning, making it disappointing that it was still advertised as such.

We were offered an alternative room, which we appreciated, but it wasn’t another suite with a balcony, so it wasn’t equivalent to the room we had paid extra for. We were also advised not to use the shower at that time because it would affect the hot water supply for the rest of the hotel, so moving rooms wasn’t really a practical solution. We eventually received a partial refund and a complimentary bottle of Prosecco, which was appreciated, but we ended up sleeping with only a small fan and had a very uncomfortable night’s sleep because of the heat. It was a real shame as this stay was meant to be a special birthday celebration

Cheap and dirty. Unpleasant staff.

Honestly, nothing. My partner said breakfast was good.

It's very cheap and dirty. The quality similar to travel Lodge, a bit worse, but the price 3 times bigger. First the room we were given had a borded window, so no window and smelly. We asked to change so they gave us room with the window at least. £152/night but dirty carpets, poor bed and duvet, pillows the cheapest and uncomfortable. The cheapest instant coffee, no spoons, no water, no glasses. It's very very low. The swimming pool is the tiniest and very dirty, was hard to swim through other people's hair. Large amount of dirt on the bottom of jacuzzi and pool. Sauna only warm, like the weather outside was. We had to pay extra £15 for the motorcycle parking, even we did not occupy parking space. The man at reception was unpleasant. We travel a lot and stay in many different places, this one one of the worst.

Brilliant!
Pros:

The room was incredible! Super clean, great size and aircon during a heatwave. Every staff interaction was helpful and friendly. Bonus points for the TV having inbuilt chromecast! The bar area and garden were great too!

Cons:

The shower was unreliable heatwise and it was difficult to phone reception and have the call answered but these were tiny issues and did not effect an excellant stay!

I've booked a Junior Suite, but upon arrival I was informed that no room in that category was available. Instead, we were given a room of a lower category.

To make matters worse, there was no extra bed available for our child. It took the manager nearly two hours to arrange one, and it wasn't delivered until around 10:00 pm.

The room itself was not clean, and the decorative cushions on the bed appeared to be stained with what looked like biological fluids, which was extremely unpleasant.

While waiting for the manager to resolve the issue with the extra bed, I also witnessed another guest reporting that she had entered her assigned room only to find someone already sleeping in it. That was very concerning and did not inspire confidence in the hotel's management.

Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. I would not recommend staying at this hotel unless they significantly improve both their housekeeping standards and the overall quality of their service.
