Excellent Service and a Great Stay

I had a very positive stay at Hyatt House San Jose/Silicon Valley. What stood out most was the outstanding customer service. Everyone at the front desk was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. I arrived early in the morning, and they went out of their way to have my room ready much sooner than expected. Even though there had been an issue with my reservation being canceled, the staff handled everything professionally and efficiently, turning what could have been a stressful situation into a smooth check-in.

The room was comfortable and clean, and the hotel's overall atmosphere was welcoming.

One area where I think the hotel could improve is sustainability. I didn't notice a recycling bin in my room, and I would love to see more vegan food options and a water refill station with both still and sparkling water. I've seen this at other hotels, and it would be a convenient way to encourage guests to use reusable bottles while reducing plastic waste.

Overall, the exceptional service made this a great experience, and I would gladly stay here again. I left feeling well cared for and very satisfied with my stay.

The Hyatt House in San Jose was an excellent place to stay during the USA-Bosnia and Herzegovina game in the FIFA World Cup. The room was need and had what we needed. I was surprised by the amenities, including the larger-sized fridge/freezer, induction stove, dishware, and dishwasher. We had ample room to live in and enjoy the short time in the hotel. All the staff were friendly, and the free breakfast was ready for us when we were ready.

Proximity to everything I need

Convenient location for meetings with Google nearby, lots of restaurants, CVS, Target, and two Starbucks. Very close to the highway.

Location is good. Rooms are beaten up and old. Parking was paid. Breakfast was terrible and all junk. Will not recommend or stay there anymore.

Very helpful staff. Good, clean and well located hotel. Decent breakfast included to make a good start to your day. Easy to get to work or get in a quick run on the Guadalupe parkway. Decent gym is an additional benefit.

Overall, we had a good stay. The staff were welcoming and friendly, and we really liked the location and the EV charging. The room itself was clean, but there was a strong lingering smell that seemed to come from the curtains and blinds, we noticed it in both rooms, even after switching. The bathroom was mostly clean, just a bit dusty along the edges, and the bathtub had some staining/chipping.

Breakfast was decent, though it could use a bit more variety. Aside from that, everything else was fine. Improving the odor in the rooms would make a big difference.

The location was excellent to get around the lower bay of SF. The hotel was located in a strip center with restaurants and shops.

The room was spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed, making it perfect for business stay. I especially appreciated the fully equipped kitchenette and comfortable work area, which added a lot of convenience. The bed was comfortable, and the overall environment was quiet and relaxing.

Check-in was smooth, points were credited correctly, and the complimentary breakfast was a great start to the day, with a good variety of hot and cold options.
The hotel’s location is ideal for Silicon Valley travel—close to major offices, dining options, and highways—while still feeling comfortable and low-stress.

Overall, Hyatt House San Jose / Silicon Valley delivers exactly what World of Hyatt promises: consistency, comfort, and reliable service. I would gladly stay here again and recommend it to both business travelers and long-stay guests.
