Still no decaf coffee, I was told after the last review that I just needed to ask staff on arrival, the girl was embarrassed, said she was asked for it the previous week as well, she could only offer me decaf tea.

Staff were great. Location was great for us.
Pros:

Great location for a stop over as we were travelling further the next day. Staff were very friendly.

Cons:

Hotel was a bit dated and could do with a refresh.

Great for breaking up a journey. Not bad for exploring Taunton vicinity. Think motel ...
Pros:

Good value. No frills (such as a/c; meals; bar; pool). Akin to a motel. Comfortable, clean.

Cons:

Plenty of parking, but none allocated specifically to guests. Cars comiing ang going all day in the car park (Increases risk of parking knocks).

Roadworks nearby on southbound motorway section during my visit. Thus using the hotel for proximity to Taunton was not as good an idea as I had thought, on this occasion (had to queue several times whereas I should have been able to avoid altogether if I had stayed in Taunton). Bad luck and not the hotels fault. But worthy of a mention. Queues werr usually only 5 mins.

Pleasant stay, excellent value for money
Pros:

Rooms v clean, staff v helpful, and did their best in difficult circumstances, weather v hot!

Poor, no air con and not even a fan offered.
Pros:

Not much.

Cons:

No air con, not even a fan offered. Room was incredibly hot (much hotter than the corridors or reception) as the windows had been left shut.
Tired, dated and not clean. Found someone else’s food just left on the bed.
Shower had one setting only no matter what you did, red hot only. Had to run the hot tap in the sink to make it bearable.
