The cleanliness and the old style bed and furniture and the open plan!

Cons:

The cost of the mini bar!!!! The slippery tiles near the shower/spar recess after a shower.

Good location for what we wanted but the room smell would be put me us off staying there again
Pros:

Close proximity to the Great Western for an event we attended

Cons:

Our room smelled very musty like old wet carpet. Not sure if it was the carpet or smelly air con but it was vey unpleasant. Also the rodent trap along the skirting board in the room was not a good look.

An Interesting Stay
Pros:

The decor has the 'wow' factor, very beautiful! Bed, pillows and couch were all very comfortable. The complimentary welcome pack was a lovely touch.

Cons:

The location across the road from the train line is not ideal for sleeping 😴🥴 Maybe add some earplugs into the Welcome Pack 💁‍♀️

lovely old hotel and great value for what it is
Pros:

this is an outstanding period property

Cons:

you have to climb into the spa to have a shower which can be challenging for an older person like me
the fridge had not been fully restocked
