Great location, superb room and facilities but very a disappointing dinner the restaurant
Pros:

The location, building, bedroom and other rooms such as the lounge we excellent, clean and well maintained. The staff were accommodating and managed our lack of spoken Spanish.
Dog friendly and dogs allowed to roam the enclosed garden

Cons:

Experienced a very disappointing evening meal in the restaurant: The tuna and anchovies starter was very good, however the main courses were literally just the meat dish ordered with no vegetables or an option to add side dishes. The rack of lamb lacked meat and what there was was chewy and tasteless. The suckling pork with crispy skin, was not crispy and lots of fatty bits. Uninspiring!!
Note that breakfast was absolutely fine

Het hotel is prachtig en ligt op een geweldig mooie plek. Alles is superschoon en verzorgd.

Cons:

De kamerprijs is redelijk, maar... als je in het restaurant gaat eten betaal je de ongekende hoofdprijs voor eten dat lauw wordt geserveerd en een kaart die vol staat met schaal en schelpdieren. We betaalden 95 euro voor een voorgerecht, twee hoofdgerechten, een glas wijn en een spa rood. Je krijgt een homp lauwe ossehaas op je bord, zonder groente of iets extra's. Nou ja een veeg guacemole of iets dergelijks. Sterker nog, we moesten voor een handje lauwe slappe patat 6 euro pp. bijbetalen. Dit kan echt niet! Zo neem je je gasten echt niet serieus.

Paz, relajación y conexión con la naturaleza
Pros:

El entorno, cómo está cuidado, la paz qué se respira, un lugar maravilloso para desconectar y conectar con la naturaleza en estado puro. Habitaciones bien acondicionadas, cómodas y con bañera con jacuzzi. Hay mini frígo en la habitación y cafetera, a la llegada te dejan de bienvenida unas cápsulas de café y agua. El desayuno bufet muy variado en un salón con vistas al valle, es precioso.

Cons:

Qiiza más opciones de cena en la carta para las noches que no te apetece cenar de plato, sino solo algo de picoteo. Por poner un "pero", porque todo nos gustó.

Etxegana is prachtig gelegen in de natuur. Het is een sfeervol en gezellig hotel met een vriendelijke staf die in alles met ons meedacht en heel attent was. De kamer was ruim, licht en mooi ingericht met een zitje, een koelkastje en faciliteiten voor koffie en thee. Voor de gasten is er ook een salon met comfortabele meubels en een groot terras met prachtig uitzicht.S
