I arrived at the hotel expecting to be greeted as a guest at the very least.
The member of staff that checked me in did not even say hello or welcome instead decided to make a face!

This the worst stay we have ever experienced and raised serious health concerns.
The most alarming issue was the tap water. We unknowingly used it for drinking and washing during our stay. On the morning we were due to leave, ants began coming out of the tap—even when it wasn’t running. When we turned the water on, hundreds of ants came out into the sink from the pipes. It was absolutely disgusting.
Shortly after, all three of us became violently ill. Both myself and my daughter have immune disorders, which made this situation even more serious. Contaminated water being accessible to guests is completely unacceptable.
Cleanliness overall was extremely poor. There was dirt in multiple areas, and we even found pubic hair in the bedsheets. The washing machine was broken (the bearing had clearly failed and it was extremely loud), and the TV had no signal throughout our stay.
The way management handled this was equally concerning. My husband, who is autistic, was initially accused of lying until we showed video evidence. Even then, the response was dismissive and unprofessional, with the manager walking away instead of resolving the issue.
We were offered a £20 refund, which is completely inadequate given the severity of the problems and the impact on our health.
I had stayed here many years ago without issue, but standards have clearly declined. There are serious problems with hygiene and customer service that urgently need addressing.
We are now considering seeking legal advice.

Everything was as expected. Home away from home. Keziah is the perfect hostess and always makes sure the room I request was available and I loved the fact that she remembered my name from our previous bookings with this establishment.
