This is much more like a 1/2 stars motel/a place for backpackers than a hotel!
Pros:

Not sure where to begin. We booked two 2 persons rooms at VENUE hotel Joo chiat. We wanted East cost location that’s why we booked here. Very small windowless rooms with rundown painting and very worn and not practical furnitures. You have 4-5 hangers on a metal pipe with no wardrobe at all. The rooms are much smaller than the usual 2 persons rooms are and clearly not enough to be able to open up a single lagguage. The corridors, rooms, bathrooms stink and sinks are blocked. Dirt everywhere if you look at the furnitures, br facilities a bit closer. Floor is sticky. We walked through Very depressing. Finally when we decided to leave the hotel earlier and book at another hotel we came through fecea on the elevator floor. Ugh. What an unpleasant experience in beautiful Singapore!

Cons:

Literally nothing exept the opennessof a hotel receptionist for my polite but completely desperate and negative feedback. Thanks for that, again.

It was a good transit hotel for us.
Pros:

The hotel's location is very convenient. The staff is quite helpful (although the one who greeted us during check in looked quite grumpy).

Cons:

The room is clean, but not clean enough; we found small ants loitering around the vanity desk and near the bathroom sink. Nothing disruptive, but we were just wondering where they came from, as we didn't bring any food upon checking in. And the noises from the neighbor came through the walls quite clearly; as they are a karaoke pub, we could hear their singing quite clearly.

Me dejaron efectivo el primer día que no llevaba para el taxi.

Cons:

NO TENÍA VENTANA. El baño olía a tubería y el agua caliente duraba 2 minutos. Cada vez que pasaba por recepción me recordaban que debía 20€ cuando estaba teniendo problemas con mi aplicación del banco, no me iba a ir sin pagar no hacía falta recordármelo cada 5 minutos, un chico muy soso y hacía las cosas sin muchas ganas, la chica nos atendió bien.
