Lovely building, with nice gardens
Nothing really. Could do with air conditioning in the reception area and the rooms, but I appreciate that that can be expensive to install and run. But as our British summers get warmer, it may be something they will have to do.

Shower head is fixed and at 5ft 11 had to stoop to wash hair. Shower spray wet all of the floor/screen is not long enough. Mouldy areas in bathroom. Fan poor everywhere misted so had to ipen window.
Room reasonably clean - some cobwebs on ceiling noted.

The breakfast was very tasty and again you were greeted with a smile from every member of staff in the morning.
Unfortunately it was very warm while I was there and the rooms do not have air conditioning. The hotel did provide a fan in the room but it was still a little uncomfortable..
Another lovely stay. I have a sprained ankle and the hotel willingly accommodated my need for a ground floor room not far from the dining room. It was a very spacious and comfortable room for one person too. Fantastic food as both breakfast and dinner were excellent. One of the best mushroom risottos I have ever eaten. Very good value for money.
