Clean, central pub hotel
Pros:

We ordered a larger room and pleased we did. I find the upstairs rooms very small. Only problem was the room was divided in half by a step so we didn’t use the sofa end. I would have preferred more space round the bed/bathroom.

Cons:

I think it’s quite expensive for what it is but it’s central so I guess you pay for location.

Nice location, below average for the price
Pros:

Great location in the high road .

Cons:

Very noisy water booster pump on and off all night, i was exhausted by the morning ,very pricy because no breakfast included

It's a great place to stay if you want to stay close to the High Street and transport links.
Pros:

The location is perfect for easy access to the High Street and transport links. We didn't get a chance to eat at the restaurant but it did look inviting and I will be back in the area and would dine in for breakfast or dinner.

Cons:

The bathroom could have been cleaner. The bathroom flooring and grout looked moldy and should have been cleaned properly before guests arrive. They should consider replacing the flooring with tiles that would be easier to keep clean.

Pleasant stay
Pros:

Comfy bed, spacious bedroom, friendly staff. Wide choice of meals in restaurant.

Cons:

Constant throbbing sound of some sort of generator outside our room disrupted sleep in what otherwise was a comfy bed.
Breakfast expensive. We were not offered guest breakfast menu or prices.

Very close to where we needed to be, plenty of amenities within walking distance e.g. coffee shops, pharmacist, barbers, retail stores

Great food, lovely staff, comfy bed.

Cons:

Room was exceptionally hot. I appreciated the Dyson fan in the room but there's only so much it can do when it's circulating hot air. The towel rail couldn't be turned off (in July!) and the window only opens a few inches. The night outside was cool, but I was living in a greenhouse and got no sleep.
I'm sure it's a lovely room when it's not summer.

Man kann in dieser Stadt kein 4 Sternhotel erwarten.
Pros:

Das Hotel hat keine Klimaanlage , aber sie haben eine potable Klimaanlage hingestellt. Wir waren sehr froh darueber.
Die Dusche ist neu und hervorragend. Das Pub nebenan ist nachts sehr belebt , aber wir haben keinen Laerm gehoert.

Cons:

Kuehlschrank und Foehn fehlen, Fernster kann man nicht aufmachen, also keine frische Luft.
