The location was excellent. Car park was a bonus, a bit tricky to navigate but at least they have one.
The hotel had a good mixture of business and tourism. Reception staff were excellent. Really fast glass lifts !
The room had no view and no proper window. It looked over an odd internal corner. I don’t like not having a window, it makes a room feel ‘odd’
Very rich breakfast, pleasant and friendly staff
More then half the rooms have no direct sunlight. They feel awful. Images do not explicitly show that there are no windows to the outside.
The hotel was exceptionally clean and well-maintained throughout. A thoughtful touch was the complimentary in-room refreshments, including water, apple juice, and beer (two bottles of each), which added to the overall comfort of the stay.
The restaurant was lovely, offering a pleasant dining atmosphere and a respectable selection of wines. Additionally, I benefitted from a complimentary travel pass for buses and trams, making it convenient to explore the surrounding area.
My room was located at the edge of the building and, as a result, did not offer a good view. Unfortunately, the hotel was fully booked, so a room change was not possible. The receptionist apologised and assured me that they would arrange a better room in advance for my next stay.

Location, cleanliness and value for money were great.
Unfortunately pillows were a bit uncomfortable and unfortunately the shower plug wasn't draining and started to overflow.
But overall was a veey good stay and would recommend.

I booked a two night stay on January 28 2026 , reservation QCLPGKPM, for two nights May 27-29 2026. I dedicated a lot of time and effort putting together my Swiss vacation selecting hotels close to the attractions and restaurants that I had included in my plans. On May 25, two days before my arrival and in middle of my Swiss vacation I got an email that they were overbooked and they were moving me to a sister hotel that was further away from the Bern City Center. This disrupted all my prior planning that was intended for a seamless and enjoyable Swiss vacation. I had booked 4 months prior for them to move me out two days before my arrival.
A terrible experience without ever reaching the hotel.
