Fabulous location and views.
Pros:

The location is amazing. Right at the River and in the old town Next to Restaurants. Easy to get to by food from Train Station. The views were amazing and it was quiet. Hotel Restaurant with terrace along River. Food great. Air con in the Room was Perfect.

Cons:

No cold drinking water in the room in 30 degrees heat. We had to go outside to get cold water from the fountain. Staff friendly on arrival BUT no greeting from reception the next several days. Breakfast - Book your own eggs (trial & error), can’t ask for fright eggs. Staff at breakfast only asks for number and doesnt like requests.

Pros:

Schöne Zimmer, gut und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, freundlicher Empfang
Sehr gute, zentrale Lage.

Cons:

Badezimmer: wir würden eine Dusche gegenüber einer Badewanne vorziehen. Zum Duschen ist eine Badewanne nicht sehr komfortabel.
Leider wurde das reichhaltige und gute Frühstück nicht immer neu aufgefüllt (z.B. Käse)

Air conditioning in Thun!
Pros:

Wonderful boutique hotel and a perfect location in Thun. The reception and housekeeping staff are amazing! Very friendly, ready to help, and have solutions for whatever the issue. The rooms have individual air conditioning. I visited July 2026 when temps were above 90F / 33C. The air conditioning worked great at cooling!!
