Pros:

Breakfast is very good-European style continental. Comfortable room. Great location.

Cons:

Wish we had a refrigerator. Lack of air conditioning does not match our warmer climate change summers.

מלון עם המון מפרחים, ומעוצב היטב, במחיר סביר קרוב למרכז העיר
Pros:

מחיר סביר לעיר מאוד יקרה
ארוחת בוקר טובה ועם פירות

Cons:

מדרגות גבוהות , וחדר די צפוף, הדלת נכנסת ישר למקלחת ,
אבל החדר היה מאורגן היטב

Beautiful village and very nice accommodations. Excellent contential breakfast also.
Pros:

The property was located in the heart of the village which made it very convenient to walk everywhere or to get the bus. The place was mostly comfortable and clean

Cons:

While there in July we were experiencing a very hot spell of weather. The hotel only has heat available for the rooms so we were a little too warm in our rooms as there is no air conditioning.

Great location and facilities and would stay again but could so easily be so much better.
Pros:

Quaint Austrian style hotel. Big rooms and cozy feel. Location is a 10+

Cons:

Staff is unprofessional, what I would expect at an economy lodge.
All 3 days of our stay the overwhelming smell of ammonia cleaning fluid in the breakfast area was terrible. It permeated the whole hotel.

Pros:

The hotel is outdated and poorly maintained. There was no mini fridge and no air conditioning, which made our stay less comfortable.

We booked a room for two adults and one 16-year-old, but we were given two very small beds that were not suitable for a couple. The beds were also uncomfortable.

Overall, the room did not match our expectations, and we don’t think it offered good value for the price.

Everything was great, but the lack of friendliness and hospitality was disappointing.
Pros:

Overall, we had a pleasant stay and enjoyed our time in Vail. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located, making it a great home base for exploring the area.

Cons:

The one disappointment was our check-in experience. Unfortunately, the front desk associate who greeted us was not very friendly or welcoming. First impressions matter, and after a long day of travel, a warm greeting and a more hospitable attitude would have made a big difference.

Warm and noisy!
Pros:

The Hotel Gasthof Gramshammer is a classic Vail hotel. It was there when I first skied Vail which was a long time ago.

Cons:

Our room was above the dining/lounge and there was loud music until after midnight. It was unseasonably warm at night and an old mountain hotel does not have air conditioning. It was a warm noisy night!

A lovely hotel badly in need of updating
Pros:

I wish I could write a better review, and I hope it's helpful. You can tell that this was a wonderful place to stay years ago. The first impression was great. The location is terrific. There's no need to worry about trying to park in the very small on-site garage unless you have heavy luggage or a lot of it. The Vail Village garage is only a five minute walk away and is $25 cheaper for an overnight stay. The front desk staff was lovely and helpful, and the whole hotel was very clean. My room was almost unbearably hot and stuffy, though. There is no air conditioning, which I know is standard for older hotels in Vail. This probably worked well years ago, but summers are much too hot now. I couldn't spend much time in the room because of this. The balcony is much cooler, which was helpful. It didn't help to open the sliding door while in the room. In any case, this couldn't be done at night since there was no screen door, and the blackout curtains covered the door opening. Breakfast was quite good. The signed pictures on the bar wall are very interesting, although all of them that I saw were quite old, another sign that this was once a great hotel and I'm sure could be again.

I wouldn't stay here again during the summer, but I would love to try it in the spring or fall when the weather is cooler, and probably in the winter, although I'm not a skier at the moment.
