Pros:

We liked that this picturesque hotel pub had a restaurant and that the Owners and staff were very friendly. Our breakfast was cooked to order and very good. There was free parking.

Cons:

Our room was smaller than we expected. It seemed that there was only one other guest in the hotel so they could have upgraded us to a larger room. We would not recommend the regular double room as there was very little room around the bed. The desk for the kettle and cups folded against the wall and blocked the door to the bathroom when set up 😢

Pros:

Breakfast and family group dinner at the hotel were excellent. Brian was very helpful in organising taxis for us from nearby wedding venue.

Overall the location was excellent, the accommodation and level of service did not justify the price.
Pros:

The pub’s lovely location, easy parking and convenient access were definite positives. The bar had plenty of historic character, and the staff were pleasant,

Cons:

The atmosphere lacked warmth and the service felt basic.

At £170 per night, the room felt overpriced. Although it was clean, it was very basic, with a shower but no bath, and did not feel up to the standard expected of a hotel.

Breakfast was acceptable, but the tea was lukewarm and we waited 50 minutes for our food. This was particularly disappointing as we were the only resident guests dining, alongside just one non-resident family.

Good accessible location, car parking limited but very clean and great friendly staff
Pros:

Very convenient for our visit to family

Cons:

Room was a bit ‘snug’ but comfortable. The bathroom in our room ( room 2 ) could have benefited from a squirt of WD 40 as it was a bit noisy particularly in the middle of the night !

Pros:

Good location in centre of village. Friendly, helpful staff. Very comfortable beds. Good shower!

Cons:

Rooms a bit cramped. Kitchen closed on Sunday evenings, (but only a couple of minutes walk to nearby pub which served an excellent meal). Breakfast service rather slow.

The friendly atmosphere at this hotel is a delight that!
Pros:

The Whyte Harte is a well maintained, and lovely pub/hotel. The woodwork everywhere was beautiful.

I especially like that the room was so clean!

The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The food for breakfast and dinner was delicious.

I’d love to stay there again another time!

Cons:

No problems at all!

Acojedor, agradable, quizás necesitado de alguna mejora.
Pros:

Acojedor y buena comida.

Cons:

Quizás a las habitaciones les falta alguna mejora. Las ventanas dejan entrar el aire (me cabía el dedo entre las hojas de las ventanas) y eso hace que el frío entre.

Pros:

Kamers zagen er gerenoveerd uit, pub gelegen in t hart van een klein dorpje, dorpswinkeltje recht tegenover wat handig was voor wat drinken en wat snacks. We konden al rond lunchtijd de kamersleutel krijgen. Manager was zeer vriendelijk.

Cons:

Kamers roken vreselijk muf (oud gebouw), zijn heel erg klein en basic ingericht. Geen waterglazen, geen kast, alleen een kapstok en nauwelijks ruimte voor je bagage. Fel badkamer licht gaat automatisch aan en blijft heel lang aan, ook s nachts. Internet deed t meer niet dan wel en ook slecht mobiel bereik. Ontbijt was a la carte, kleine porties, je kon wel meer bestellen maar duurde allemaal lang en doordat alles tegelijk werd uitgeserveerd waren sommige dingen niet warm meer. Wij moesten hier in de buurt zijn, er was weinig alternatief, maar wij vonden dit geen aanrader, zeker niet voor de prijs die we betaalden. Voor minder in betere hotels geslapen.

Wonderful
Pros:

Location was fine - we were repeating our first night of married life - 50 years later.

Breakfast was excellent.

Staff were all friendly and helpful.

Food was great.

Cons:

Weather dreadfully hot - a fan was provided so can't see what else could have been done for us.
