Pros:

Excellent location, parking was several minutes by foot from the hotel. Very nice breakfast and helpful staff. Nice small balcony with perfect central square view.

La calidad de algunos productos del desayuno es mejorable. La insonorización de las fachadas no es suficiente, a las 8 nos despertamos con golpes de obras en el entorno.

We loved CáCeres, in a hotel right on the Plaza Mayor, but there are some tradeoffs
Pros:

Location and cleanliness of bathroom.

Cons:

Parking was a challenge, but getting luggage to the hotel was a problem in the rain. Slippery walkways and cobblestones. Room was large but half was somewhat blocked with very low attic beams. Anyone taller than 5'2" risked hitting their head on those beams, especially in the dark. NO window, just a skylight. Hotel elevator was scary as it bumped up and down at each floor, plus was very slow.

Superbly located and good value.
Pros:

Very well located with a wonderful view from our room right across the Plaza Mayor to the old town. The room design was well thought out, the beds were comfortable, there was a super chair to lounge in, and the bathroom worked well. Staff were friendly and efficient. Lots of restaurants were within a 5 minute walk and we found Yuste, part of the NH Collection hotel, which did a superb menu for 29 Euros. Above all, a wonderful location and view.

Cons:

The lift was very slow.
It wasn't the hotels fault, but we have rarely visited a city where so many of the key sites were closed often due to restoration work.

Very calm ambience. We will be back!
Pros:

Friendly and helpful staff. Great location overlooking the Plaza and comfortable room.

Cons:

Problem with parking close to the hotel to unload passengers and luggage. Had to use Public Car Park which was up steep hill and not conducive for someone with limited mobility.
