Amazing staff, beautiful place was upgraded on arrival with no added charge.
Food was delicious
I asked for a quiet room and had total silence and an upgrade to a balcony. I was personally shown to my room. Lovely caring staff.
Avocado was under ripe and poached eggs over cooked but I feel that was unlucky. Breakfast room was lovely as were staff.
The location
The hotel needs same decoration but the room was comfortable
Location and staff
Building is getting tired and needs some work to justify the prices
Food was good but had tummy pains afterwards and spent night in the bathroom
Excellent choice for breakfast
Posizione e camere di atmosfera
La nuova gestione non sa fare hotellerie. La struttura e’ sporca e trascurata. Triste. Potrebbe essere un posto bellissimo.
Spa, breakfast, parking and location.
NA
Location great for visiting Bath and events at the showground.
Pool and spa was great addition
No blind in the bathroom, wasn't a problem as it has Privacy glass however made the bathroom hot at times. One part of the sauna not working.
The location was lovely and the building. Spa facilities
Some of the areas could have done with sprucing up but not too bothered it is an old building
NOT MUCH REALLY!
Could be a magnificent hotel, but it not! Damp room, mould and cracked tiles in the bathroom, swollen doors due to moisture, hot tub not working.
Service not great, breakfast let just not go there. An expensive mistake £336 waisted which is such a shame as we needed a relaxing nice break. I urge you to read the google reviews and scroll down the page I am not the only one!!!!
Feel completely ripped of and in my view not worth even listing on this website......go stay in the travel lodge it will be better!
All of the above and so much more
Staff very friendly. Lunch, evening meal were good. Breakfast larger that expected.
Location good for what we needed it to be.
EV charging
Comfy bed and pillows
Food and drink, although good, were expensive and they put a 10% surcharge on the bill which we were not aware of beforehand.
Th room we booked was very tired. Needed painting internally and also more deep level cleaning as lots of dust on pictures and floor corners.
Hot tub cover was very worn and had seen better days... looked shabby when you went onto the patio.
Tea/coffee station - not near any plugs so had to move kettle across the room to make a drink.
Where roll top bath was situated there was a window but the curtains could not be drawn foe privacy so had to make a makeshift cover.
Could be overlooked in hot tub by the carpark and walkway at the side of the patio area.
2nd stay such comfy beds, lovely breakfast and great staff 👍
Could have done with comfy garden furniture on lawn as there were no cushions.
The Spa was great!
No air con in room
Nice grounds
No AC at +38 was a nightmare. Very weak fan could not do much. Food is overpriced, breakfast is very basic. The swimming pool is around 4x4 meters, more like an oversized jacuzzi. Overpriced in my view.
