Lovely place but probably won’t come again

No phone in rooms. If so should be told when checking in

A little tired but staff were great

Great location , lovely grounds

Cons:

A little unclean (cobwebs in bedroom) stains on ceiling, blue roll in my friends dinner! The spa area was very tired with missing stones and wobbly grates around the hot tub

Pros:

The room was comfortable, the bar, garden and restaurant were great, food was really tasty. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The spa facilities and treatments were great.

Loved everything. Excellent breakfast. Really helpful and friendly staff who went the extra mile. Large room and comfy bed. Great grounds.

Lovely stay
Pros:

Lovely room and beautiful grounds. Friendly staff and helpful with local knowledge. Room was perfect.

Cons:

The spa felt more like a leisure centre and less exclusive than I had expected. It is also not part of the main hotel but in a separate building a short walk away through the car park so no lounging in redressing gown at the hotel. This was disappointing.
