Recommend this hotel
Pros:

Peace and quiet spotless and staff so helpful

Cons:

Thought that 8.30 for last dinner a bit early. Also bar closed at 11pm and unable to order cocktails. I know it’s a small point but we stay at other hotels with ability to have a bar service until midnight.

Lovely accommodation, very relaxing.
Pros:

Lovely setting, cosy room, lovely comfortable bed and friendly staff. Good parking and facilities.

Cons:

The drive to the property is very uneven, there are some very large pot holes that have formed massive gullies which could be potentially lethal to tyres. Would be nice to see those repaired to match the feel of the surroundings.

Not returning.
Pros:

I was really disappointed with my stay and unfortunately wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

The room was extremely small and, despite the warm weather, had no air conditioning. It honestly felt like sleeping in a sauna, and I had one of the worst night’s sleeps I’ve ever had in a hotel.

The staff weren’t particularly friendly or welcoming. I had booked dinner as part of my stay, but when I arrived, I was told the kitchen had already closed. When I asked about my booking, I was made to feel as though I was asking a silly question, which was both embarrassing and frustrating. In the end, I had to leave the hotel and get a takeaway instead.

Breakfast the following morning was okay, but nothing special.

The one positive was the spa facilities, which were very enjoyable and probably the highlight of the stay.

Overall, I expected much more for the price. Between the uncomfortable room, poor customer service, and the dining issue, it simply wasn’t a good experience. Sadly, I won’t be returning

Cons:

I’d have rather slept in my car it was so hot!

Nice place that could use air conditioning!
Pros:

Great location. Fitness centre and pool next door

Cons:

If you book with Booking.com they don’t tell you that there is an extra £20 charge to use the fitness centre and pool. This is not in the T&Cs so beware!

Very pleasant
Pros:

Large room, parking, WIFI, staff lovely, lovely grounds & hotel

Cons:

Not much of a choice for Dinner, especially as one guest needed plain food.
Breakfast was a bit dried up at the Buffet and next morning it was cleared away and you had to order. Nice sausages though.
