The hotel is situated right downtown near Catherine Street in Quartier de Spectacle. It is close to many attractions like Old Port area. This is the only one positive thing about this hotel. Location is great.
1. We did not get the room we booked. Upon arrival we got the room with one double bed and we booked room with Queen bed and a sofa bed.
We got back to reception and got a key to another room which was already occupied !?!
Third time finally we got a room with Queen bed and a sofa bed however the room was smaller and of a different layout which we booked and saw on the pictures on the hotel website.
2. Hotel is dirty. Old carpets begging to be replaced all over the property. Dirty windows or glass tables in the lobby.
The entrance with dirty stairs to the hotel lobby is very uninviting and that's your first clue to run away !
3. No elevator so be ready to climb the stairs with your language
4. Breakfast is very basic. 3 types of cereal, apples , bananas, yogurt, coffee, white bread ( in plastic original bags) and a bagel some spreads like philadelphia cream cheese.
That's all. The display of these products awfull and uninviting to eat anything.
Sitting in front of dirty windows is not a pleasant experience either.
Just skip breakfast all together and go to many other places around the hotel.
5. There was no hot water for one day.
6. There was no hungers in the wardrobe to hung the clothes, no iron , no ironing board.
7. Very small bathroom with tiny shower cabin. No hairdryer.
8. In our room the power outlet was not covered, some holes in the wall.
9. Beds uncomfortable and specifically sofa bed with all the springs.
10. Tarrace is dirty, unorganized with mismatched old tables and chairs. So uninviting !
personnel très agréable et au top
pas ascenseur escaliers très laids pomme de douche non fixée au mur petit déjeuner très succinct
Nothing
Very grubby. No elevator
Très bien situé dans le quartier latin et presque toutes les choses à faire ou voir a pied !

The location
The three flights of stairs that we had to carry our luggage up
The room was clean and the hotel is conveniently located.
- despite 24hr front desk service being advertised, there were numerous times when we were unable to access our room for up to 20 minutes, even in the middle of the day. The door to the lobby needs to be unlocked by the front desk, so if they weren’t there, we couldn’t get into the room.
- advertising a “continental breakfast” is very misleading when the only food being served was toast and cereal with lukewarm milk.
- there are lots of stairs up to the hotel, but no elevator. I understand that it’s a historic building and an elevator can’t be built, but as someone with a disability, I would have liked to know ahead of time.
- there is no parking connected to the hotel
- there was one time when we were gone for a couple of hours and had intentionally left the light and air conditioner on in the room. When we came back, someone had been in the room and turned everything off. It made me very uncomfortable that someone was going into our room without any warning, and they weren’t even in there to clean.
Nice employee, easy access and nice location in mtl! Near Chinatown
This hotel needs some love and construction
They cancelled our reservations the night before our check in. So we had a hard time booking last minute
The staff was super helpful and friendly, let us keep our bags there after we checked out and were very accommodating
It was in a pretty run down building with construction going on right on our floor. The bedding hadn’t been changed and room wasn’t super clean. Also if staying in room 207 your one window is a beautiful view, the other was rat geographic (which me and my sister actually very much enjoyed)
