Happy Daze at the Double Tree Hilton Amsterdam Centraal Station
Pros:

A nice modern, busy hotel within 10 minutes walk from Amsterdam Centraal Station the AMS Metro and river cruise terminals. Close to bars and restaurants and super market. The check-in staff were very friendly and allowed us to check-in early. The room was a twin bedding and the room size was okay. The beds were comfortable, with good wifi.

Cons:

The bathroom was a little small, but apart from that there's nothing else to say.

Great hotel, location and best of all perfect staff
Pros:

Friendly professional staff and 24hr service. Great location and restaurant. The staff were so good that they completely mitigated the below room shortcomings. So 5 stars from me.

Cons:

Room was relatively small and dark with black decor everywhere and only mood lighting, no main light. Poor window views.

Je parle Allemand et Français et il y avait pas des personnelles dans l’enregistrement qui parlait le même langue que moi et j’avais beaucoup de mal à communiquer - il y avait beaucoup de monde dans le checking et l’attente - pas frigo dans la chambre et l’eau pas assez puissante pour prendre une bonne douche

Revisiting Amsterdam
Pros:

Very close to train from airport so easy to walk there from the train. Easy walk into the city centre. Large room, plenty of hot water, nice size bath and shower and that they were separate, comfortable large bed. View over canal was very pleasant. The renovation that has been done since our last stay has really improved the vibe in the lobby and cafe, very modern, cosmopolitan feel to it now. The seating is very comfortable and enjoyed the books and games that were available in the bar area. Staff were extremely helpful.

Cons:

Lack of facilities to enjoy a meal in your room rather than have to buy something in the hotel.
