Nice stay at Sivatel.
Pros:

We had a lovely room, the pool was beautiful and the gym was well equipped. We like the location as it is nearby to numerous eating, shopping, and walking opportunities. Staff were generally fantastic.

Cons:

Unfortunately there is currently significant construction activity adjacent to the hotel which meant never ending jack hammering noise when at the pool and breakfast. Bathroom was huge but lacked towel rails and lighting in some parts.
Entrance not reflective of a five star hotel.

To be honest it is hard to fault this hotel. I read a few reviews highlighting the staff was rude. My experience could not have been more different. The staff has been incredible at every step of my stay. Front desk (sunisa I believe) was super welcoming and when I reported an issue with the shower head shortly after arriving, she had someone in my room within 5mn and that same person replaced the head within 15mn, all the while she was supervising the work, this is dedication at the highest level. Another employee, Dragon, found 3,000 thb I had lost and personally came to me to give it back. This is 5-star service through and through.
The room (champa suite) is huge. It is reported as 65sqm on booking but I think this is an understatement. I measured it closer to 72 and the layout is amazing with an open 360 degrees setup allowing you to access each room as a loop. All this for a really good value, especially using genius levels, way better value than other 5-star nearby.
Furnitures are good and stylish, bathtub is great, shower is huge.
The spa is amazing and good value: I strongly recommend the special consisting of body scrub, body wrap, and aroma massage (with pressure points focus), 2 hours of bliss and relaxation. My therapist, Wi, was amazing, all this for only 2,700 thb.
Location is great, at the heart of the city, close to busy nightlife and some great restaurants, and close to the metro station.

Cons:

If I really had to be difficult:
- I found the bed slightly bad for my back and the pillows either too soft and low or too hard and high (minor point, easily remediable)
- the light system is a bit clunky but it is made to be modern and I think it just requires getting used to

Pros:

Spacious room and nice facilities. The staff was very nice and helpful, they even made an elephant towel display on the bed when requested. Interior was nice, the TVs were good, pool view and amenities were excellent. Location was close to everything.

Cons:

I would have liked wall plugs on both sides of the bed. Towels were 50/50 during our stay, sometimes they were solid and other times they were either too fluffy/cheap and we’d have white fuzz on our bodies after drying off. Toilet was view was nice but would’ve liked it to be separated from the rest of the bathroom. No hair conditioner.

Pros:

Excellent hotel in great location with very helpful and friendly staff! 3 minute walk to BTS station, across the street from Central Embassy Mall. Generous rooms, decent breakfast buffet, cafe and ATM in lobby. All the staff were amazing, friendly and helpful, especially Prissy in the downstairs lobby who really helped make our stay enjoyable, in and outside the hotel. We will definitely visit again
