Perfect stay, great location
Pros:

Location was perfect, we got in late after check in closed but staff were super helpful getting instructions to us. Room was huge and pressure in shower was great

Ok if you are not spending much time at the motel.
Pros:

Its proximity to Hagley Park is excellent. A 20 minute walk across the park into the city. Ample off-street parking. Although I was travelling alone the room accommodated 3 people with a queen and a single bed so good value for a family.

Cons:

No privacy - the rooms face the street and a breezeway runs along in front of them so people look into the rooms as they pass. There are no net curtains or sun blinds - you have to close the whole curtain which blocks the door and have the lights on during the day to see. The shower drips and I had to put a towel in the bath not to hear it. The bulb for the light over the bed was blown - asked reception on Friday to replace it, still not done by Sunday.
