In order to complete the online self check-in process, each guest is required to provide Identification before arrival. If you choose not to provide your ID before arrival, you may not use the online self check-in. A check in fee of POUND 25 will apply. To ensure the safety, security, and registration of all guests, an insurance fee is required of four pounds and ninety seven pence per guest.
This nonrefundable fee is for the pre-authorization on the card provided prior to the check in, covering any incidental charges, smoking violations detected or unsettled payments at check-out. Please note early check in or late check out are only possible at a surcharge. If you haven’t completed the online check in by 18:00PM costs POUND 25 to check in after 18:00PM. A surcharge fee of POUND 49 applies for arrivals after check-in hours.
All requests for late arrival are subject to confirmation by the property. The property will only accommodate the number of guests specified in the booking confirmation. A surcharge of POUND 35 per person per night applies for each additional guest you wish to add to your reservation. Additional unregistered guests are not allowed at the property.
Smoking anywhere on site or out of any window, or covering the fire alarm is strictly prohibited. Violating this policy will result in an additional fee of POUND 200. Your reservation will be immediately terminated and will remain nonrefundable.

Photos are misleading
It is not bad as it said to be, its decent for a short stay, Solo one night stay not too bad.
However, the its not something l would recommend for long stay. Windows did not close properly, the carpet have never been changed for decades. It is overpriced and its not worth what it is said to be .
Total scam. Used Ai chat bot in WhatsApp. Requested for passport details and extra costs! Reported to Booking.com who hasn't done anything about it

I stayed here for one night and was very disappointed with the cleanliness and condition of the room. The room was full of dust, the carpet was dirty, and even the extra pillows provided were stained and unclean.
The microwave was dirty and had visible burn marks inside, which was unpleasant and raised concerns about hygiene. The fridge was also not working properly, causing inconvenience during my stay.
Another issue was that I was asked to pay a deposit upon check-in, despite there being no mention of this requirement at the time of booking. This should be clearly disclosed in advance so guests know what to expect.
Overall, the room did not meet basic cleanliness standards, and the lack of transparency regarding the deposit was frustrating. I would not recommend staying here unless these issues are addressed.
The location was incredibly convenient and the size of the room and bed were good. It was clean and the door code system was efficient and secure.
The room didn't match the pictures, and had an extra single bed taking up most of the space. The double was the firmest and most uncomfortable bed possible, and the single bed was very narrow and unstable. The shower was cramped, and my room was at the top of the building - lugging a suitcase up three-ish flights of stairs only to collapse onto a solid floor feeling bed was bad. Despite the security of the key system, the window had no lock or latch at all and opened wide enough for a person to easily climb in and out. It would have been nice to open it in the heat but it also didn't have any way to keep it open.
There is an AI check in system which had me pay an extra security fee and then did not give me my door code. The presumably human 'concierge' system is just a whatsapp - they gave me my door code. There's no point messaging for anything else, as I messaged asking for toilet paper on Friday at 12:15 noon and never got toilet paper or any response by the time I left on Saturday just before 10am.
There were also strange noises and banging at all times of day and night, like old pipes in the winter, but it was the middle of summer.

Poor soundproofing and a long wait for confirmation upon arrival, even though everything had been done in advance and the insurance was removed and not returned.

This is a scam and Booking.com are offering no support. The hotel does not reply or pick up calls to myself or Booking.com.
They insist on more money and fees post booking. Coincidence or not, within 2 days, experian confirmed my details are on sale on the black market. I've had to cancel my passport (the ID provided before all the additional fees forced) and will need to pay for another to stop the scam going further.
Disgusted and shocked that Booking.com allow this now seeing how many times this has already been reported to them.
Booking.com now not responding to my.complaint either after they insisted I still travelled to see what happened and promised alternative accommodation to then go back on their word.
Overall the hotel is a scam and do not rely on Booking.com to serve you even with better loyalty tiers.
