Great location and friendly staff.
Our room was quite dirty - there were hairs in and on the bedding, dust on the shelf/glass wear, a spoon with chewing gum (?) stuck to it sitting on a shelf, the exhaust fan in the bathroom didn’t work so the whole bathroom was covered in black mould.
Location, 24hr reception.
Bathroom could do with a refresh
The bed, matras and pillows were very comfortable.
On check in the front desk staff was fantastic, gave the kids a toy teddy dolphin.
Room was dirty (food under the table)
For $500 a night getting only a double bed is a bit rich.
Had to ask house keepers 2 times just to get more towels and empty the rubbish.
The shower handle was broken.
Room service was a nightmare. Ordered at 6 pm. Rang up 2 times to follow up only to be given a different excuse each time. After 2 hours waiting and 2 very hungry boys I went down in person to find out what was happening. Only to be accused of being disrespectful because I was upset the kids hadn’t got their food after 2 hours. Front desk manager was completely devoid of any functional communication or understanding of the situation and just palmed me off to the bistro manager. If you’re ever doing a case study in piss poor communication and customer service/ leadership look no further. The truth finally came out when the bistro manager said they had 2 full seatings. If this was just communicated in the beginning the whole situation could have been avoided.
The only positive aspect was the location.
Small rooms with none of the usual things included such as mini bar food, shower caps, ect. A fire alarm went off at 7am, no communication between staff and hotel guests. We evacuated outside for over 40 min, with no direction or clue what was happening. Absolutely horrible service. There were many children crying and elderly people out in the cold.
A comfortable property in the perfect location.
Nothing!
Location great breakfast great staff absolutely fantastic
No complaints at all
Location
Carpet in our room smells aside from that would have been a great stay.
Great location and rooms.
Restaurant was poorly organised.
The location is good
The room was missing a cupboard door
The vanity sink was blocked
There was no soap or body wash
Upon turning down the bed there was a blue paper spot stuck to the sheet.
