The pillows are very flat. They did have 4 in each bed but they were all flat

It was alright.
Pros:

I liked the location and the room they were nice. The parking was decent.

Cons:

The AC wouldn't go below a certain number, we were charged 20 more dollars at check in. It could not be paid in cash, and the front desk lady was not the nicest for sure.

We loved this location.
Pros:

The front desk was very helpful and knowledgeable . They accommodated us the moment we stepped foot into the property. Staff was kind throughout the hotel that we encountered. We love the convenience of the location. Access to everything we needed.

The GM showed up...
Pros:

Very nice place & in a good area.
There are restaurants & an outside shopping mall less than a mile away.

Cons:

My check in time was at 3:00 but my room wasn't ready till 4:00. An elite guest had over stayed their time. I had my elderly parents with me & they were ready to rest after a long drive.
The General Manager extended my last day there by a few hours.

Wonderful Stay!
Pros:

First time staying at this hotel and it was such a great experience! I loved the atmosphere and we felt most happy at this property. Definitely going to be coming back again this month and next month! Thank you to Shayan at the front desk for giving us an upgrade, we absolutely loved this room, and it was a wonderful stay. Would definitely stay at this room again. She's very accommodating and welcoming at check in. Thanks again and see you all soon!

Bring your own water if staying in this hotel
Pros:

We stayed at Fairfield by Marriott West Covina for over a week and were upgraded to a King Suite for the last two nights. However, upon check-in, there was no soap or bottled water in the room.

When I went to the front desk to request water, a lady called Diana gave me two 237 ml bottles. I asked about the 500 ml bottles we had received during the rest of our stay, but she told me the hotel never provided that size and that the two small bottles were all I could have.

The issue was not only the lack of basic amenities, but also the dismissive attitude when I raised a reasonable concern. After staying for over a week and being upgraded to a suite, this was a disappointing experience and not the level of service I would expect from Marriott.
