Great motorway overnight venue for Galway same day return trips
Pros:

Location along M6 great for break on return trip to Galway

Cons:

Lack of hot meal room service after 8pm. Most 4 star hotels offer room service meals until 9pm. Anyway had a bowl of soup and sandwich delivered to the room which was adequate if not what I had been looking forward to. Business travellers like to get up to room relax and eat up there.

Good location & very nice gym/work-out/pool area. Room was clean & cleaning staff great. Close enough to easily walk to train or to walk around Athenry. Bed & linens comfy. Window coverings kept light out.

Cons:

Exterior of hotel in need of care & updating. Plants dying, worn-out carpet in entrance door, worn patio furniture. A bit sad looking. Interior needs updating as well.

Very little to be quite honest, the location was the only thing

Upon checking in we were told the pool was undergoing renovations, never got an email for this as the lady in reception said, got a message on booking.com app which I rarely check, the beds were like two concrete slabs the most uncomfy sleep I have got in a long while, hair dryer was broken and also we rang down to reception to get two glasses of ice which we were told “can you not get it yourself?” Will never be back and would advise others to look elsewhere

Would Definitely Recommend to friends & family.
Pros:

Cosy country vibe that was so close to the town. Staff v friendly. Spotlessly clean. Food excellent taste, portion & value for money. Mattress was excellent for people with back issues.

Cons:

I felt the lockers in swimming pool needed an upgrade. No machine to dry togs & jacuzzi didn’t work. Gym was old fashioned but functional.
