The food was excellent and held to a high standard no matter what time of day.
A Very clean hotel. The pillows on the bed were very comfortable. It has plenty for kids to do without leaving the hotel. It has a swimming pool, a brillant soft play area for the kids and a fairy garden for them to explore outside.

The room was great.

Cons:

The TV was not working.
The breakfast wasn't great. Scrambled eggs a bit dry and the food felt like it had bred there a while.
No fridge. Always handy.

Cons:

Breakfast buffet was good but little attempt to add veg e.g. tomatoes, etc. Meat meat meat is the order of the day.

Bed was quite small, especially for tall people. The shower only had a fixed wall-mounted water outlet, without a detachable handheld shower head, which made it less practical; additionally, no slippers were provided in the room. Overall, considering the price, the room amenities could have been better.

I thought it was going to be a Tranquil Spa it was more like a kids play pool....
From what I observed the Hotel Spa and Swimming Pool/Gym etc is more like a local leisure centre..
not a problem just not what i was expected..
Hotel is very isolated not much about it... unless you're will to drive to areas..

Great motorway overnight venue for Galway same day return trips
Pros:

Location along M6 great for break on return trip to Galway

Cons:

Lack of hot meal room service after 8pm. Most 4 star hotels offer room service meals until 9pm. Anyway had a bowl of soup and sandwich delivered to the room which was adequate if not what I had been looking forward to. Business travellers like to get up to room relax and eat up there.

Good location & very nice gym/work-out/pool area. Room was clean & cleaning staff great. Close enough to easily walk to train or to walk around Athenry. Bed & linens comfy. Window coverings kept light out.

Cons:

Exterior of hotel in need of care & updating. Plants dying, worn-out carpet in entrance door, worn patio furniture. A bit sad looking. Interior needs updating as well.
