Great location.friendly staff..would return,
Pros:

Staff were friendly and approachable

Cons:

The room was quite small and in need of some TLC for example the bed frame was very chipped and the bathroom needed a new lock of paint,especially where the toilet roll holder had been moved.For the money paid I would have expected a little more attention to detail.

Parkplatz hinter dem Haus

Cons:

Raum 50. Gebucht mit zwei Erwachsenen und einem Kind. Die Betten sind unbequem, zudem knarren sie ganz übel und extrem laut bei jeder Bewegung, an Schlaf war kaum zu denken.

A really pleasant stay that we would be happy to repeat.
Pros:

The Star offers the chance to stay in a really historic building. The position of the hotel relative to the city centre is superb, with a Tesco Express across the road staying open until 11 p.m
The staff were incredibly pleasant and friendly, making you feel a valued customer.
The bedroom was uncluttered, so easy to move around. The large tv had excellent connectivity.
It was fantastic to be able to open the bedroom and bathroom windows, allowing fresh air inside.
The bed was very comfy, with just the right lightness of bedding for summer temperatures.

Cons:

The decoration of the room was a little jaded, but wouldn’t put us off staying again.
