Good location for one night before a cruise.
Pros:

Good location, convenient to stay a night before a cruise, comfortable beds, reception was helpful.

Cons:

The property is very old, dated, the room is small and smelly, no AC, they offered a fan that did not help with a heat outside and inside, pricy for this kind of accommodation.

A Wonderful Vintage Stay when meeting up with your Cruise Ship
Pros:

The place is beautifully 'vintage'. Charming. One can see and feel its history. Wonderfully located right in the center of Southampton, very close to the cruise port. But what really needs to be said is how wonderful the staff was, everyone who works there. From the front desk, to the management, to the ladies who served us breakfast. So helpful in arranging for our transport to catch our ship the day we left, and every other need we had. We stayed there several days, took great photographs walking around, enjoying the nearby restaurants. A nice place to bid a fond farewell to Great Britain.

Cons:

Nothing to not like. Zero complaints.

Great value for short stay
Pros:

Perfect location and it is great value for money. Would stay again for short stay. Only 15 mins walk to cruise terminal.

Cons:

I had to hold shower head when showering. Also quite warm in summer with no air con, but the hotel did provide fans which was most welcome.
