Great Value
Pros:

New York hotel prices have become shocking! This hotel was completely fine. The room was clean and neat, location is great, there was always coffee and cold water in the lobby, and there is even a rooftop patio!

Breakfast food selection could be better. Styrofoam plates and plastic eating utensils not something I would expect at a Marriott hotel. Also the bathroom sink faucet fixture was wobbly.

Pros:

La struttura è in un’ottima posizione, si trova tra l’empire state building (10 min a piedi) e il madison square garden. Le fermate della metro sono vicine (5/10 min a piedi) e ci sono anche parecchi ristoranti nella zona.
Le lenzuola e gli asciugamani venivano cambiati ogni giorno, l’ho trovato davvero pulito. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo con colazione inclusa.

Cons:

Le stanze sono un po’ piccole, ma neanche così tanto se consideriamo la media newyorkese.

Great location for the train station, good hotel.
Pros:

Very good location, with Penn station only 10-15mins away on foot. The room was on the smaller side, but that is a given for Manhattan. Bathroom was a good size. The room was nice and clean, however it took us some time to realise that the AC unit was still running even when turned off from the thermostat. The first night we spent there we were too tired to realise it and woke up in the middle of the night because the room had gotten cold (we were sleeping with earplugs so couldn't hear the unit running). The 2nd night we tried to cover it with towels until we finally raised it with Reception who were able to turn it off from their system.
The room had breakfast included, which was continental style. Decent selection, but nothing spectacular. Overall the stay was reasonable value for money, considering it was in Manhattan.

Cons:

I think it would be helpful to give guests the heads up upon checking in that they have the option to request the AC to be turned off completely. The feature might be useful in the summer, but during our visit the weather was unseasonably cold.
The street the hotel is on has a lot of flower shops which display their goods on the pavement, making it incredibly difficult to navigate (especially for us, with a manual wheelchair). Not much that the hotel can do about it, but it was quite inconvenient.

A fantastic stay
Pros:

Central location. Modern and very clean. Breakfast included was great. Also hotel offers free coffee and mini bottle water, even very nice cookies one afternoon.

An excellent little hotel in the floral district and close to Penn Station/MSG
Pros:

Hotel is excellent, with the free breakfast well above expectations. Friendly staff, rooms are very NYC (or Tokyo, for that matter) and tight. Highly recommend for an inexpensive (by New York standards) place for a couple of nights.

Séjour incroyable dans cet hôtel !
Excellent rapport qualité-prix, difficile de trouver mieux pour cet emplacement. L’hôtel est idéalement situé, à proximité de tout, ce qui rend les déplacements très simples et agréables.

Le personnel a été formidable du début à la fin : accueillant, disponible et toujours souriant. On se sent vraiment bien pris en charge tout au long du séjour. Mention spéciale à Jasmine à l’accueil, qui a été incroyable avec nous et a vraiment contribué à rendre notre séjour encore meilleur grâce à sa gentillesse et son professionnalisme.

Mention spéciale également pour le petit-déjeuner, excellent et très complet. L’hôtel propose aussi de petites attentions très appréciables comme les bouteilles d’eau à volonté, le café disponible gratuitement ainsi que du popcorn l’après-midi, ce qui rend l’expérience encore plus agréable.

Je recommande sans hésiter et j’y reviendrai avec plaisir lors d’un prochain voyage.

Cons:

Un petit bémol pour la taille des lits mais malgré tout ça reste complètement correct.
