Optimal views and location. The best terrace ever.

Nous séjournons très régulièrement à l'hôtel Vesuvio et y revenon toujours avec beaucoup de plaisir! Idéalement situé en bord de mer avec des vues incroyables sur la baie de Naples, un personnel toujours au petits soin. Petit-déjeuner fantastique dans une salle avec un vue magique.

Emplacement,vu, gentillesse du personnel,qualité du petit déjeuner.La chambre était spacieuse et confortable.

My wife’s brother was admitted to intensive care in a life‑or‑death emergency, and I had to take a 9‑hour flight back to the United States with no warning. I immediately notified Grand Hotel Vesuvio in Naples that I would not be able to use the remainder of my prepaid reservation.

The only option they offered was for me to return and use the unused nights before the end of the month. My brother‑in‑law wasn’t released from the hospital until April 29th, making their offer impossible and lacking compassion.

I provided the dates of my next visit and explained that I planned to bring family members to dine at the hotel, asking that the unused nights be credited toward that stay. I appealed to the warmth and family values Italians are known for, but Grand Hotel Vesuvio denied every request.

I was then told it was “technically impossible” to extend the credit — something I would never say to a customer during a genuine family crisis. After four polite attempts to find a reasonable solution, the hotel stopped responding altogether.

Guests deserve empathy and communication in situations like this. Sadly, that was not our experience with Grand Hotel Vesuvio, Naples, and it does not reflect the Italian hospitality I have always known and appreciated.

部屋やホテル内に置かれている家具や調度品が老舗ホテルに相応しく素晴らしかった。内装もクラシックで重厚感があり素敵でした。朝食もとても美味しく、レストランやルーフトップバー、部屋のバルコニーからの眺めも素晴らしかったです。ナポリに行った日が丁度ローマ教皇来訪日と重なり道路規制があって港からホテルまでの送迎が出来ず移動が大変でしたが、スタッフの方々の対応も親切でしたので次回またゆっくりナポリを訪れたいと思いました。

The stuff was friendly, facility clean and cozy, our room was upgraded w/o asking. Great breakfast.

This was our first stay at this hotel. Great location, along the promenade with a fantastic view of the Castel dell’Ovo.
We came by taxi, so can’t really comment on the parking facilities. It’s not terribly close to the airport but the location on the promontory is a lot better.
The lobby is well appointed and the service was welcoming and warm. They do have adequate facilities at the hotel including an indoor pool and a gym, but we didn’t visit either as we were staying but one night. We also couldn’t visit their rooftop bar, but if the view was anything to go by, based on our room, it would be a great place for a romantic evening.
Our room was really well appointed and lacked for nothing. Nice balcony, great view, plenty of storage and the interior was traditional but not dated and kept well.
We had a couple of gifts waiting for us which was most thoughtful and a nice fruit basket. The air conditioner actually worked well - surprising how inconsistent that can be, in the best of hotels and the one here was not disappointing. The bathroom was well appointed, the pressure good, the temperature perfect and the jacuzzi was a welcome addition.
The turn down service was good.
Breakfast was a simple but elegant affair. Not too huge a spread but covered the fundamentals and what was done, was done well. Everything was fresh and clean. The atmosphere was bright and airy too. The service, attentive and friendly.
Although we were here but one night, we would definitely stay here again when visiting Napoli.

Situation très bonne, vue mer exceptionnelle de la chambre du 7 ème étage.
Mais: pas de machine a café ni la possibilité d'avoir eau chaude. Pas de café, pas de thé, pas de verres ni tasses dans la chambre. Pas de voiture pour l'aéroport, pas de couverture supplémentaires pour la nuit. Correspond à un service hôtel 3 étoiles.
